"But I ain't givin' up faith And you ain't givin' up on me - get up, Dre! I'm dyin', I need you, come back for fuck’s sake!" This part is like wow, with my headphones on and just the passion, the way he yells it, that line always gives me chills.

TwistedMind 97 Agreed. I am the same way about a part in 'Headlights' when Eminem says; "One thing I never asked was where the fuck my deadbeat dad was Fuck it I guess he had trouble keeping up with every address But I'd have flipped every mattress, every rock and desert cactus Own a collection of maps and followed my kids to the edge of the atlas Someone ever moved them from me? That you could bet your ass's If I had to come down the chimney dressed as Santa, kidnap them." It hit my like a ton of bricks, as I relate to the lyrics so deeply. I feel the same way about my father and my son.

I think Eminem put everything into, infinite was it? And despite being a great album it probably just didn't have the advertisement and didn't sell great. If I'm not mistaken he was thinking of ending everything, but someone at dre's label recommended him to dre and he then had to go see him after hearing a snippet. Then upon seeing him live wanted to work with him straight away.
@gordanburke27264 жыл бұрын
Infinite was just ahead of its time that’s why it flopped people just weren’t ready for it in my opinion, it was different in so many ways ears just weren’t ready to hear it for what it was

I don’t blame him for having a mental breakdown. I had somewhat a similar one. In 2016 I was in high school in about idk. 11 th grade but anyway.. I was having a good time and I get a call from my other uncle that said.. Hey, you’re uncle Jerry. Died. I was literally just staring into space for about at least an hour or so. Mins after that? Broke down. Not because just his death? Just his memory I had with him? And I couldn’t go to his funeral because of family reason with another man. Now? I learn not to take anything for granted. Anything can happen at any given time. As long I live with my mother? I will defend her at any cost. I fear of losing her in a bad situation. If I am to lose my mother? If I am to lose my mother? I want it to be peaceful.

NOTHING BUT #RESPECT for my brother King KTF. Just today I found your reaction videos and I have watched every one of them that covered Eminem. Now I will see what other ones you have done. And although I simply do NOT leave comments, you have now made me break that rule lol. RT, FR... Your reactions are genuine and exactly what mine are; no doubt what most peoples reactions are when they give these jams an unbiased chance. And there is one overwhelming reason that so many people have such a similar response to Eminem/Shady based jams. It's because he is a top notch story teller and his videos (of course) reflect those legit stories. Ones that we all, as fans, can relate to and respect. Brother King KTF, please keep doing what you do, and be the King you were meant to be. Thanks brother.

If that doesn't make you shed a tear I don't know what will! I think I was about 13 when I first heard NWA. I grew up listening to these guys and when I see this I remember a few of those flashbacks to the beginning of gangster rap! The older you get the more you understand just how fast a whole life can go by. There are probably a lot of people who didn't grow up in those days that don't know just how much Dr Dre had to do with not only the beginning of gangster rap, but also shaping the genre throughout his career. That's why eminem says what he says. He found snoop, eminem, and 50 cent! If you took all that away how different would rap be today?
@bruceborneman5 жыл бұрын
This was a masterpiece! But, to get the full effect, you have to watch the video. It shows the journey and the struggle of life and how you wake up one day and you're 50! Where did the years go? I wonder how many of your viewers know just how important Dr. Dre has been to the rap game. At one point there was no bigger name in rap than Dre! Seeing him looking down at easy e's grave brings him full circle. I can't say enough good about this because it won't do it justice

This fucking song healed my heart god damn. My boy of 20 years was at his lowest and I gave him tough love pleading with him just like em is pleading. He tried to end it all one night. I got him to the hospital in time barely. He was in a coma for a few months. They fought if he woke he would be a vegetable and fuck this song got me through it. Em has been there at so many pivotal moments in my life. My boy is ok now but this song helped me feel and me cry and eventually heal

#kingKTF Its about Dre's battle with depression after his son died and em was like telling him to get up, the world needs him I think lol
@AlokSomani5 жыл бұрын
By the way, this video and song makes more sense in context -- Dr Dre's son had just died. Dre was shaken up and probably struggling to keep it together, hence the video with him having flashbacks and feeling like he's on life support. Then Eminem comes in and tries to remind Dre that he's still got his back. It's Eminem reviving Dre.

World Class Wreckin Crew, N.W.A, Death Row, Aftermath, then Eminem and Em brought us 50. Oh and Dre gave us the game too, was his idea for him to be added to G-Unit before Game and 50 fell out. This is arguably his best song/verse since the 2001 album, but for real the rap game today has a lot to thank guys like Dre for. The game is messed up as it is but if not for guys like him, who knows where it would be. Oh and RIP Eric Eazy-E Wright.
