Jason’s openness and honesty is so impressive. I’m coming up on 8 years sober and the journey of self-forgiveness and self acceptance is so tough, but it’s so crucial and it gets easier every day.

Glad to hear your on a road to bettering yourself Jason! Keep it up! Definitely feel the wanting to cry just because you’re happy to be here. I’ve been in a really dark place most of my life too and on the 6th of February 4 weeks ago I was tossed out of a side by side that landed on top of me, fractured vertebrae in my neck, 2 in my back, collapsed lung, broken collarbone and fractured nearly all my ribs. There’s a reason I’m still here and just like you I wanna help people for the remainder of my life. We can do this man! Keep up the solid work 🦾🦾 much love from Buffalo NY!! 💚💜

I am always a bit relieved when I see Jason talking it out with Dr. Drew. Jason, I've been a die-hard fan since the early days, and it hurts my heart to see you go through so much. I pray to the cosmos that they keep you pointed in the direction that allows you to heal yourself, love yourself, and live happily. Dr. Drew, I've been a fan since celebrity rehab, but became a die-hard after seeing you help some of my favorite people like Jason and Steve-O. What locked me in was your intelligence and realistic opinions as well as your humble nature and the absolute love and kindness you show everyone. This is long winded because I've been worried about both of you and I'm simply happy to see you guys kickin it. Lots of love from Canada ❣❣❣

As a 45 year old man that still gets carded at the store....( If that doesn't translate to Australia, I get I.D.ed at the store.). I have been active my whole life. I live the Peter Pan life. Growing up skating every day, soccer, gymnastics, climbing and working out. I've never got to Arny or Sly's bod, although I tried. My knees and lower back are killing me every day. I look like I'm 20 younger than I am, if get up from a chair it honestly looks like I'm 80. I try to stretch and do "yoga" but every other day it doesn't help. I'm still young, but I fear for my wife if one day I can't move anymore and she just leaves me in a ditch and collects the money. Love you guys, love the honesty. Keep it up. Keep pushing the limits and be proud. Both of you help more than you can realistically qualify for regular dudes( or girls, or whatever) nothing matters in the grand scheme.). Some days I can't walk, and some days I'm on varsity again. It's perplexing.......... sorry Jason to make you read that word. ❤

It’s because he has an occa (broad) Aussie dialect, that Jason’s accent is more noticeable. I spoke fluent Ngarrindjeri and Aboriginal English until I was placed in my forever family. I lost the language and culture, it was replaced with Oxford English and Australian English. I can still speak and understand Aboriginal English and understand local dialects of Ngarrindjer, Peramangk and Kuarna. Sorry weird tangent. I am actually in recovery. Coming up to my 2nd birthday. So proud of Jason and have been following his recovery journey 🤘🖤

This episode is why I love Jason Ellis. His honesty is amazing. I am nodding my head thinking me too. Break ups are so hard. Especially for me because I am codependent. I feel like a break up is so much harder with codependency. Like you said getting off the drugs I can make anyone my new addiction. I feel like a healthy relationship is much easier to break up. I am going through so much of the same stuff. I have been clean for awhile but I started smoking weed occasionally and is it really so bad. My relationship has been breaking apart. Back to just me and my animals. Having feelings is is a good thing. Grieving needs to happen and I have to remind myself it’s not forever and maybe not depression. I was concerned about you smoking weed. I still loved you through it. Maybe that’s advice for myself too.

Jason, I had two hemorrhoidectomy’s in a matter of four months. I had both internal and external. I had no pain whatsoever after each surgery. I I prepared for war based on what I read and heard about the surgeries, and I literally had no issues. I think the people who have painful hemorrhoidectomy’s are those that have inflamed, bleeding ones. Mine were not that they were just purely removed for cosmetic reasons, so if you’re in the same boat as me, I would advise getting it done.

PS I’m also a nextI addict so I couldn’t take any pain medicine but I did ask him for gabapentin based on research I did. And he didn’t give it to me. I didn’t even feel the need to take it. All I took was meloxicam, which is a highly effective anti-inflammatory. Goodluck!

Jason this sounds weird but i feel like if you focused on tech skating, like learning stupid flatground tricks, or mini ramp tech etc, could be real freeing for you! I used to be hammer guy and needed to jump, once healing my mind, it sound’s counterintuitive but now struggling on some stupid fkn nosemanual on a curb really kills a lot of time and gives you something to work towards instead of picking up the smokes again yk! 🤙🔥
