If you have rosacea, I would highly recommend laser treatment. It's kinda painful, but worth it! I underwent treatment for three treatments and mine is gone, after suffering for 20+ years with it! I wish I would have known about this treatment earlier!!

Rosacea isn’t curable though, I agree laser is helpful, but incredibly pricy unless you have coverage.

@@river8760 depends on what you consider "incredibly pricey". $300-400 and your rosacea is gone! They said it can come back in like a decade, and then you would just need a touchup. Sorry, but when you are miserable with rosacea, I don't consider one $300 treatment a decade to be burdensome. It's a blessing!!!

Dr.Emma can literally create skin miracles for some of her patients. She is so knowledgeable, through with biopsies and never reluctant to refer patients on to other specialists for the best results. All the while she is encouraging and uplifting.

I kind of guessed it was rosacea from the thumbnail! My face looked just as bad during my last flare up, when things got completely out of control. It was constant, burning pain, and my skin barrier was so bad that even splashing it with water stung. Fortunately, a couple of months of antibiotics always seems to work for me and it went back to normal after that. Running out of the moisturizer that "works" when you haven't found a replacement is an ordeal; I hope the new one I found never goes out of business or changes the formula.

My babydaughter looked similar when she was just three months old. After a lot of trial and error we found, that the skin was much better when she did leave out quite a few types of food (wheat, sugar, citrus fruits, tomatoes, etc.). Since I was still breathfeeding her, it was for me to go on that strict diet (helped wonders with my pregnancy-leftover kilos 😉). She now is 22, and every now and then it flares up again, sugar and wheat are still not good for her, the rest she not tolerates better. Maybe this young woman could try a similar approach in the future.

I clean face daily. I moisturize. As far as I am concerned the itching was a reaction to my own body especially sweat. I get relief immediately after washing. I also use a medicated cream prescribed by my dermatologist and every 6 months use efudex. It is not that much work and i am 20 years into the process. It looks and feels great.
