Very informative video. I wish it was in hindi, so that I could send the link back home to my father and the engineer who are constructing our house. We have back wall which is along with the hill soil. I am afraid dampness may come. But I will surely advise them to use Dr. Fixit Super Latex.

Sir,what will be cost of per square meter, old buildings for arresting dampness in international walls. Do we apply for external walls also.Your company service Engineer and your contractor telling higher price. Will they have proper instrumentation for measurement moisture and other parameter. We got duplex in peddamberpet ie sadashiva heavens venture. Measuring plinth area about 3000 square meters. We have done cup boards work .Most of building inside with cup boards. Your people asking more money. Wall area about 8000 square feet. Will your estimate properly. Could you please send your Engineer to work out Qties in scientific ways.

They will give a guarantee with the bill but if you call them they will not answer your call customer care will say we are not responsible for this so it is wasted of your money

I am civil engineer & had similar problem. Is your area open on some sides. In rainy season the ground water table rises which takes a few weeks to go down into deep layer wherefore it travels down to hundreds of feet until it reaches natural ground water table. Solution: By the side of basement, make a bore hole deeper than foundations of basement. Put only perforated pipes which should take water from upper layer to deeper layer. Thus water will not attack basement walls & floor. Make more such holes depending upon the length & breadth of basement. My opinion drill at 7 feet apart. The basement floor must have cracked due to hydrostatic pressure from outside water pressure. When floor becomes dry redo a slab of RCC.

If there is no open ground around your building., make a few bore hole on the floor to release the floor of hydrostatic pressure due to rise of water level in the natural ground around the building.

It is better to go back to stone age. A mason, be it a local one or the Dr.Fixit approved mason would not follow these instructions religiously. So, after spending thousands, your wall face the same issue; then you will buy some other products or service. It's a vicious circle. In my opinion, it is better you spend minimal amount and keep treating your affected walls once in 3/5 years.
