Dr. George Charity Car Show 2024 In Indian Wells, California

Back at Indian Wells Tennis Garden for the Dr. George Charity Car Show. This annual event is put on by the Palm Springs Cruisin' Association and benefits the Desert Cancer Foundation. An estimated 1,100 cars were in attendance at this show. Classic cars, hot rods, custom cars, lowriders, pickup trucks, exotic cars, muscle cars, and other antique autos.

Hey thanks for filming and posting this. My 80 year old dad, who actually lives right down the street, he has Parkinson’s and cannot get around to attend. So we watched the whole vid on the big screen. He grew up in the 50s and can always name every car and interesting details. This really made his day!

A Palm Springs Cruisin Association. Member here. Hi Frank I’m the guy that checked you through the VIP gate. To answer some questions I see here. Yes all the vehicles pay a registration and spectators pay to enter, and all the years we have done this have never had anyone asked for their money back. Last year the club wrote a check to Desert Cancer Foundation for $135,000. Yes the lawn is like a golf course at the Tennis Gardens that Larry Ellison lets us use for free. Thank you Larry

I drove two different Mavericks in the early 1980s. They both had the Ford slip into reverse known issue that went on for three decades?

Ford also had the neutral safety switch that had to be held in a certain spot to start. Made for a great anti theft device

I absolutely love your channel. The only thing I don't like is the extremely loud music that you have to edit over due to copy right reasons. Can't you just mute that part of the video and do a voice over? The music is so annoying.
