Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s disease (AD). AD and PD are distinct diseases, but they share some similarities. To help clarify both the differences and overlaps between the two diseases, we talked with Dr. Claire Sexton, Senior Director of Scientific Programs & Outreach at the Alzheimer’s Association.
