I was glad to hear mention of fusion nuclear power . I also heard that this was taped in 2022 . In late 2023 , there was a break through in fusion energy where you can now get more out of it than you have to put into it ! It’s been a long time coming and I’m sure still needs some “fine tuning”, but we are here ! This is great news for humanity and I hope we can get this technology to market sooner rather than later .

I agree. Faith is enough, and enough is as good as a feast. God made us and knows we see as through a glass darkly(I don't remember the exact phrasing of any of the translations, but WILL research it) and we have limits to what we can intellectually handle. If any of Dr. Ross's ideas have any truth, Jesus will explain it to us later on. You might want to see Isa 43:5 and Prov 25:2 kjv

Dinosaur is a term created in the 1800’s. The terms in the Bible are behemoth and leviathan. Dinosaurs didn’t die out 65 million years ago. They lived at the same time as humans. There are early drawings in South America showing humans riding on the backs of what appear to be a brontosaurus. Plus, a painting from the medieval times showing people riding on them as well. The term they used back then was dragons.

What does the genealogies in the Bible mean? While I love listening to these lectures it gives me pause. I am by no means a scientist and as I am listening questions arise in my head. God spoke everything into existence as the Bible teaches. Why would He use things such as asteroids and comets to create climate variations? Why would He wait millions of years to send His Son to redeem humanity? This sounds a lot like a secular world view to me but like I said, I'm not a scientist.

@@SamytheGreek No, God did not use physics to create the universe. Read Genesis 1. Where are "physics" when God said "Let there be...." and spoke things into existance? Physics attempts to explain how the creation works. God's power created it. The laws of how it works came about only after it was created. God's power isn't magic. It's nothing like how magic is reported to work. Magic doesn't exist. Explain to me what "physics" are being used when, while in Galilee, Jesus fed 5000 men starting with a few loaves of bread and fish, and made actual baked bread and whole fish appear from thin air in the basket so all were fed and more was left over than when the apostles began to feed the people. @@SamytheGreek The Christian is left to talk about rubbish among other believers because the sane don't bother wasting their time with ultimate questions, people reach a point, they don't ponder them. If there were a god, then would there be any demand for scripture interpretations using fantasyland vocabulary? These are the wolves in sheep's clothing, we know them by their works: Jesus says faith is worthless if you can't move mountains by issuing verbal orders to one. Nothing fails like prayer in a children's hospital, & there is misinformation as if God does not have a perfect record of doing nothing, as if we had no reason for the saying: God helps those helping themselves.

Ross plays a game, and pretends to exude humility and sincerity, but he is proud, puffed up and arrogant. He deludes himself, and thinks he is some kind of gnostic. He writes a book titled "Why the universe is the way it is". As though he has all the answers. Ross rejects the creation account, and contaminates scripture with Big Bang secular philosophies that directly contradict scripture. He rejects the global flood and says it was just a local flood, and believes there was death before Adam's sin. He claims there were "pre-adamites". (people who supposedly lived before Adam). His faith is in Big Bang, and he has constructed a religious cult that conforms to it. Don't be so easily deceived, people...Gods word warns of these types in the last days.

With all respect, I think you are wrong. The Bible is truth but the bible never claims that is scientific book. The bible has a different perspective, but not neccesarilly contradicts the science. @greenguitarfish
@greenguitarfish 28 күн бұрын
@@3MISARI0 Well, thank you for being respectful. Let me give a reply to some of your statements one at a time. You said: #1. “ The Bible is truth but the bible never claims that is scientific book.” Well, that’s a good thing, because science books are continually rewritten each year because they discover they were wrong. Gods word is God breathed (2nd Timothy 3:16) Just because the Bible is not specifically a science text book does not mean God lied to us when he said he created the physical universe in 6 days and rested for 1. Or when Gods told us the flood of Noah’s time covered the whole earth. Ross denies what God said, and perverts scripture and adds billions of years because he sees the Big Bang story as more authoritative than scripture. James 1:27 says we as believers are to keep from being contaminated by the world. Ross and others are very contaminated, and teach others to accept worldly contamination also. #2. You said: In a sense the Bible answers questions like "why"...but the science answers question like "how". The interpretation of things that occurred in the past cannot be validated with certainty, like our technology. All our technology is based on The Scientific Method. It is observable, testable, and the tests are repeatable under controlled conditions, giving the same result each time. That is real science. However, speculations about the past cannot be validated like real science. Also, scientists often have VERY different interpretations of evidence. Scientists are not infallible, and they very often come to very wrong conclusions about the past, especially those who do not adhere to a biblical worldview. In fact, The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has revealed The Big Bang predictions about deep space were completely wrong. Yet, Christian Astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lyell made predictions of what the JWST would find from a biblical view of cosmology, and the biblical timeline. All his predictions, based on scripture were correct, while Big Bang predictions were totally wrong. So, you see, Big Bang is not science. It is speculation that contradicts what God told us. The Bible says not to conform to this fallen world. And 2nd Corinthians 10:5 instructs us to destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God. Big Bang and evolution are 2 lofty speculations that have been raised against the knowledge of God. I hope you will consider this. Also, If you want to know more about Ross, get the book Refuting Compromise: A biblical and scientific refutation of ‘progressive creationism’ (billions of years) as popularized by astronomer Hugh Ross by Dr Jonathan Sarfati.

The Jews and Muslims say that there is only one, the Hindus have thousands, if not millions, Mormons and Jehovah's witness have a different model. I myself like the Tri-une model where by its one God but He is three (paradox), where by He is "the Father, the "Son", and "Holy Spirit". Study them good, decide on which one concords with the best science and go from there.
