Is the treatment different between the two types of tumors? I had one tumor removed and nuked (cyber knife) and now I have a tumor on the other side (very small but growing, new since 2020). The original one was just shy of 4 CM diameter. Now one doc says he thinks I may have another one. Is the treatment different between the two types of tumors? I don't really care which type I have as long as they can preserve what's left of my hearing. I'm actually more scared about the vestibular nerve, loosing balance on both side could be worse than total hearing lose. And losing the facial nerve (already have one side messed up).

hi - i have nf2 i have lots of tumors in my spinal cord and on the right & left ear i dont want to loss my hearing and my life please send me your contact... please please please - i need your help

I have nf1 but recently had a baseball size schwannoma removed from my T10 T11 vertebrae.
