I am glad I stuck through this video to the end. I do believe that the gifts of the Spirit are given to Christians in our day. However, I certainly do get uncomfortable with much of the Charismatic movement. I do not believe God is establishing new doctrine in the gifts of the Spirit. But I do believe that the gifts of the Spirit are necessary for the edification of the Church. For example, on one hand, you can have a secessionist local Church that is so legalistic that they crush everyone not holding strictly to their believes. Sure the pastor and everyone else in the church knows the Word backwards and forwards but there is no love of God in their hearts. So just reading and studying God's Word does not necessarily transform you into Christlikeness. Conversely you can have a Pentacostal or Chrismatic church who have plenty of energy during worship, but the pastor never seems to preach from the Word .. its just "preaching". But if you talk to either of these groups about picking up your cross and dieing to self daily, they look at you like you are a 3 headed monster. So my point is .. there is some balance. In essence I believe the gifts of the Spirit are to make God's Word come alive in your heart .. whether is be to comfort or convict or correct behavior or beliefs. God's spirit is alive, God's Word is alive and you cannot separate God from His Spirit.

Amen, the twelve apostles of the lamb includes Paul, the apostle chosen for the ministry to gentiles. Rev 22, as Dr White says, makes it clear that the foundation of the temple/ church is made up of the twelve apostles, and the twelve gates are the twelve tribes if Israel.

For the most part this was excellent and I agree. I however don't see the term Apostolic Sign Gifts in the bible anywhere. We do see the 120 that goes beyond the 12 exercising these gifts. And then we see the elder and deacons as well. What is interesting to me is the diferentian between Acts and the letters written afterward. Not a concrete proof of Cessation but it is interesting.

I love dr white but these apologists really squirm at any thought that the God of the bible still does anything supernatural today. i have experienced many supernatural events that have drawn me TO God and His Word. Yes He is the same yesterday today and forever.

I am King James only and I do not at all agree with ANY of the Calvanist doctrines. That aside, Dr White is a very good apologist.

I completely disagree with Mr White here. There are most definitely modern day apostles and prophets. Mr White is a good man and an exceptional teacher. However, he is incorrect in this area that he is teaching. God is constant in His crafting and developing of both the apostle and the prophet in today's day. Those offices are alive and thrive in the hour that we live in. I believe the Bible explicitly confirms this over and over. Bless you Mr White. Overall, you are appreciated for your labor of love and your contribution to the body of Christ. Bless you.

TO PROTESTANTS: I would bet anything short of my salvation that when your denomination is in shambles and teaching things contrary to the bible, The Orthodox Church will still be strong. The Catholic church is only 1 of 5 bishops of the original church. Us westerners have serious tunnel vision issues like we are the center of the world. There is an original church and the gates of hell have not prevailed against it for 2000 yrs. Even the Catholics who are colapsing will probably partially recover as they have in the past. Pray for the reunion of Gods church in truth.
