Here what helped me to get rid of my bladder pain after suffering for several months and no doctor could help. I started taking bronchial Mucolytic medicine, adding garlic to my diet and also gently massage my pelvic area upward while laying on bed 2 or 3 times a day.. Within 2 days my bladder pain dropped from 7 of 10 to 1 Now alhumdullillah I don't feel that horrible pain any more.. Hope this can help someone in need. Also drinking more water 8s helpful I am 53y, smoke cigarettes, zero alcohol .

I've modified my diet so there's hardly anything left to eat. Instillations and pelvic floor therapy are useless. I was told there's no pain management for this condition dispite the fact it's the number one cause of suicide in women ages 20-24. As a medical professional l can only say it's disgraceful no one will treat my pain ( which is comparable to end stage renal disease and cancer) with medication . l'm weary of being told l'm an "A" type" and neurotic .

Try Aminoacid L-ARGENINE, 2g on an empty stomach. It really works. It relaxes the muscle of the bladder and inhibits the spams. It change my life.

Doctors need to start inspecting the vulva. Had been told IC but it turns out a problem with the vulva. Urologist need to be trained to inspect the vulva. This mystery of what causes IC could be avoided. Look into videos by Dr Rachel Rubin.

Have you heard of microgen DX urine test. They think that's its a biofilm uti. Look it up

Diagnosed 14 years ago. Nothing helps. Like you I’ve tried everything. I’m pain exhausted hopefully Medbeds will be in my area soon and I will heal. 14 years is close to 1/3 of my life on state disability. Sick in bed. It’s an illness from HELL. Think paper cut with lemon juice on 24/7…… belly feels like I’m carrying a bowling ball from swelly belly….😢11 friends of mine chose death. I’ve advocated with a journalist who did a full front page and part of another on this painful condition. I met many friends closer to me from them reading this article for IC Awareness Month September Ribbon color is teal. MANY SUPPORT groups on Facebook. More have this illness than Doctors realize. It would be awesome to have a medical team to support us as there are several types of IC. Also one illness brings others. I have ICH Hunners Lesions seen on the gag lining of my bladder, 3 Hydrodistention. (Fluids put into the bladder to keep it from atrophy)…. Illness robs your bank account ruins your social life. I also believe scar tissue from 4 births cut from vjj to anus. Scar tissue cuts out nerve circulation causing urethra and clit burning. 🔥dibilitating pain down there. I wear ice packs 24/7. No one should have to wear ice bags on privates. Dr says no frost bite.
