RIP Dr. Listening & crying at the same time about his passing. We will always remember him here at Chicago's Jazz Fest! Thank you for having his music on this medium! He will be missed terribly!😪

Oh my god, every now and then, you hear a drummer who just makes the skins sing. I'm always amazed when 3 people rival the sound of a big band.

@@Wally-H @Don Kelly, I just found out Slaperoo is the name of the company that produces electronic slapsticks. This cane shaped slapstick Dr.Lonnie is playing is actually a custom version of the N-100 slapstick, named after him as the "DLS (Dr. Lonnie Smith) Electric Walking Stick", made by Slaperoo.
