Thank you for making this video! I couldn’t decide on just regular Jason’s or the HI version! I’ve always loved seeing dr martens on people but never felt like I could buy them. I’ve finally told myself that I deserve them and that I might as well get them since they’re always on my mind. Everyone talks about the classic ones to get but I’m not gonna lie, I don’t like those for some reason and loved how the Jadons looked but nobody had a video focused on them. Loved your advice and tips because if I was gonna spend that much money on them I want to know everything on the shoe. They’ll probably be my very first shoe from the brand and I’m excited. I totally forgot about Black Friday and cyber Monday! It’s only September but I’ll do my best to hold out and wait till Thanksgiving rolls around just to save a bit of cash if possible.

ive been wearing the same pair of 1460's for 3 years now, and they are only just splitting now, so you dont need to worry about them wearing down 👍

Leather does not break or crack if you keep it nourished. I’ve still got my original leather pair of Doc’s from 20 years ago, and they are still going strong😊. But I can’t say the same for vegan alternatives because I bought a pair three years ago, and the soul’s have started to Separate from the upper’s, and have massive cracks on the sides of the toe box’s. I say vegan alternatives are a waste of money, that last half the time of real leather Doc’s, and are a 100 times more toxic to the environment with all the plastic used to make them.

I’m debating between the regular and hi’s….I’m going back to the store tomorrow to decide and buy!!

I got the hi in size 8 and I find that my foot floats around (not length wise, but heel comes out when I walk, there is a lot of room on top of the foot) - is that something that goes away with time after they're broken in? I wore them 2 days full days and some other times wore them for a little bit of time, probably would need a few more full day wears with them. I'm hoping maybe some cheap insoles will remove some of that space above my foot in the toe box and perhaps fix the heel slippage. I'm also wondering if it has something to do with the tightness around the calves and perhaps not lacing up to the top? Any suggestions thanks

hi dear can you tell me where your dr marten jadon shoes are made from? i ordered mine and it came finally but i am shocked at how loose hte shoe is . I have the 1460 and size 7 fits me perfectly but the jadon is loose i can wiggle my toes they are like a half size big on me i find. My shoes are made from Vietnam and wondering if its because of the country of origin that its made. I have read that this shoe is very stiff and it takes a while to break in before its comfortable but this shoe doens't feel that for me.

I'm just scared to buy them because I kinda have small legs and idk if the platform will look dumb.

A tip to keep the shape of "any shoe", buy a shoe tree or stuff them with cloth or socks
