According to the CDC, every 40 seconds, someone in the United States has a stroke. In honor of Stroke Awareness Month, Dr. Matthew Berlet, Medical Director of Radiology and the Stroke Center, at St Joseph's Hospital, came to speak to our Board Members of the St Joseph's Hospitals Foundation today about strokes and other neurological conditions that he and his team treat daily. He goes into great depth on how early action treatment can lead to great success. Dr. Berlet also talks about the evolution of treating the neurological conditions at St. Joe's, and without the Foundation's help, the program would not be where it is today.
