First of all, Dr. Clark was not a jerk or anything in that category. she was a woman of God who believed in Holiness and perfection. She only wanted the choir to sound their best for the Lord! Regardless of how ‘hard’ she was. She got that choir in check! This soft generation couldn’t dare take correction from Dr. Clark. Get over yourselves. This woman is a legend.

I grew up under her administration, and she didnt play neither did Dorinda, Twinkie , Karen and Jacky....they all direct and teach like Mama Clark! This is where we learned how to sing for real!!!! Doing over 20 songs during our convocations in our respective states and jurisdictions was a task but it made us be the singers and musicians that we are today! I am grateful for that "hard" discipline that pulled the gift out of you and made you SING and SING TO GOD!!!!

Nik Maroc definitely, Dr. Clark. If Dr. Clark didn't notice a problem in the choir, then her girls would notice it. Dr. Clark was also the first person to record a choir record, so, that really says something.
