He is trying to make money from his new story in his book. He was the captain who probably should have stayed sober when his passengers were drunk on a boat. It was his job to drive the dingy but he was drunk so Natalie decided to drive it herself while angry and very drunk with drugs in her system, May be he feels a bit guilty.

They think it's some modern day million dollar yacht or something. Also, that dinghy hitting the side of the boat would bother you if it was next to the window, or just a few feet over at the back, again tiny. Not to mention, who spent the night before with her in the hotel room? He did! Actually, the only person behaving as expected, in many respects, is Robert...if you turn it upside down & think about it. Strange brew, we will never know. Poor woman.(Mrs.P)

Yes let's charge a 93 year old man with advanced dementia with murder on the bases of being in a heated argument with her. You can't charge someone with murder after 40 plus years with that type of evidence. This is why 12 people on death row In Illinois were sent free when DNA proved them innocent & probably were sent there in the first placed because they looked guilty. This is the problem with the justice system.

The only mystery about Natalie Wood's death, is why it has taken more than 42 years to name Robert Wagner as "a person of interest". Clearly he's the only one of the 3 men on board, who had any reason, (even if it's only in his imagination) to kill her. Obviously, it was not first degree murder, but with his habitual jealousy, and too much alcohol, and then an argument that escalated, into his becoming enraged, and brutally striking out in his fury, he just killed her, and he continues to go unpunished. I don't understand the explanation that he refuses to cooperate! With anybody else, you get taken in to the cop shop for questioning, that can go on for many hours. How is it that he's allowed to refuse?

If Natalie had no water in her lungs that would indicate she was dead before she went into the water. The bruises are signs of a struggle. Clearly more went on here than was originally reported. I remember hearing news stories about how she had been drinking and slipped from the dock into the water where she was found later, the story made it sound as if she was near the shore and the dock led up to a residence, this was the visual I came away with at the time. It was confusing but plausible.

The word is, from Lana years ago that the reason she divorced him the first time was that she found him with his Butler. Lana figured it out from what she overheard Natalie say about it. I think that explains why she went back. He could easily say it was a one time thing, or that he got therapy and wasn't into that anymore. She loved him and he could very easily love bomb her back into a relationship. He had a way to seduce people, a charm. Someone wrote a comment under a different video years ago and said they were gay and a gay friend of his was in an elevator and Robert came in. There was a woman with the guy but I don't recall why she was there. The part I do remember is he said that this gay friend was propositioned by Robert. He flirted with this guy, who was very attractive, in front of this woman but for whatever reason he turned Wagner down. That part was the unbelievable part lol. He said RJ was super cocky and it just turned him off. He went wherever with this woman, might've been his sister ? But anyways he turned him down even though he felt Robert was very sexual towards him. Robert admitted himself that he dated Barbara Stanwyck and she was a beard for a few different male stars back then. Everyone was on the downlow back then. It wasn't something that women really knew about. Maybe a few did but definitely not the majority. We would never have suspected that RJ was bi. Never. His whole career was about him being a ladiesman. The 80s were wild but it wouldn't have been accepted back then. Heck it would still be controversial today. I fell in love with him at 13 when I saw him on Hart to Hart. I thought that's exactly how I want my man to be. It's sad what happened to Natalie. I bet she really was in love with him and thought she had it all. Then he cut off the girls relationship with their aunt Lana and they suffered from never knowing the truth all this time. Lana got him on tape at the Palm Springs Hotel and wow does he ever sound guilty. Only concern was how it looked. How it effected his family. Cutting Lana off like she wasn't family at all. She's the one who has suffered the most. She lost everything when she lost her sister. The truth will come out when he passes. It always does.

This is so shocking to hear. I really believe this guy and his account of the events that happened that night. Although it has been a mystery all these years, there's a confirmation now that is without a shadow of a doubt. Robert Wagner should be charged. Dr Oz, I am so glad you're reviewing this case. Robert Wagner was able to cover up his involvement for years but he needs further investigation before he passes this earth plane. So interesting that he went on to marry Jill St. John three months later. That in itself is highly suspicious. Now that narcissism is becoming more understood, I wonder if RW was attempting to make Natalie out to be the cheater so he would't have to split income with her in a divorce. Her death sure was convenient for him.

Don't most ship captains carry some kind of self defense weapon on board? Even mace could have stopped the fight on board. At the very least, the captain could have shot a distress flare over the boat in an attempt to get help before things got completely out of hand. In my opinion, he failed his duties of being a captain. He was probably afraid of losing his high-paying job and that is why he stayed on until a year later.

Both Dennis and Christopher did absolutely nothing to protect Natalie while they heard her screams. Even a nearby boat heard her screams. Maybe they assumed the 'argument' would end and all would be well the next day. When Robert refused to turn on the spotlight or call the coast guard, Dennis became an accomplice to murder, as he should have called the authorities at that point. He got bought off by staying for a year.

The police on the case were probably paid off very well. Shame on them! !! This was NOT an accident. ☠ A cover up... by the investigators. I am only 8 minutes in and can tell they did a horrible disservice to this young woman. I was a young kid but I remember this, my grandmother was so sad. She said, It wasn't an accident it was her husband. As I watched the full thing... it was the fear on the boat captain that they locked him in a house for a year!!!! ... as threatened him not to speak up. That would not happen if her husband was innocent! I know his kids... her kids do not want to think the unthinkable... but no one locks a person in a house, threatens them not to speak up, nobody drowns without water in its lungs. Then in an effort to conceal an accidental murder, Robert dumps her overboard to cover up the death? As in, "Oops she fell overboard. We can't find her. It wasn't me." Still, call the authorities, man. He didn't want too, though. Suspicious. I know, what about reputations? Still, suspicious behavior because saving your wife should mean more to you than press and media finding out. Then there is no water in her lungs means she was not inhaling upon drowning. That indicates that she was already either unconscious or dead at the time she hit the water. Bruises can come from debris, or beatings. That part will be hard to prove, I think. Either way, the theory of her messing with the dingy and falling over seems false. Besides, a woman that is deathly afraid of water should have never been on a boat. That said, she probably didn't hang out near the water. Lastly, I think if she was alive and pushed overboard someone would have heard her screams for help, unless the music was too loud to hear her.

She had water in her lungs - but that's not conclusive, anyway. In some people, dry drowning occurs, where the larynx seals over and no water gets in. This occurs in around 7 to 10% of drowning deaths.

He did it. He covered it up. He used his clout to threaten and intimidate. I am a regular watcher of NCIS and it makes me absolutely ill every time they feature him on that show. He’s even made backhanded comment in some of the roles that they’ve had him playing on that show that seem to be in response with his real life circumstances with Natalie Wood. I really believe that they should bring him back on NCIS and then have him immediately killed off on a yacht called POETIC JUSTICE. I cannot stand the sight of him. It’s clear in his demeanor that he carries around this crime. The guilt is all over his face.

The man that was young and knew Natalie Wood appears to be a straight up person, honest, and a good man. It was very sad for him her death, and his life being threatened too. If Robert Wagner has done wrongdoing, there will be judgment day afterwards. I feel, the way their marriage was going, if he was very controlling and jealous, she'd probably would have wanted a divorce. It has been very sad for her children too.

No one learns anything by broiling. It makes zero sense to think that punishment is forever. God is smarter than that. He uses karma to teach us a lesson. We are designed for learning. Learning happens only when you can use it at a future time. Robert will go through a similar situation so he knows how it felt. We reincarnate over and over. The religions of the East have known that for 5000 years. We are eternal souls who have lives to learn lessons. If there was a chance of burning forever no one would come down to Earth to have a life. No one would be willing to take such a chance. We come and have a life because we know that no matter what happens, even if we're chopped into pieces it doesn't matter because it doesn't hurt our eternal soul. We wake up on the otherside and we're fine. We may have karma to learn from but no one is burning. A loving God who is our father would never do that !

The fact that they kept Dennis captive for a year speaks volumes. Also, why did they concoct a story if they didn't know what happened? Just say you don't know what happened. Very suspicious.
