I have been eating Romaine lettuce with no problem. I just bought some 4 days ago.... I do wash it well before I eat it.

Just wash it before you eat it. I’ve been eating this lettuce since it’s still on the shelves in my supermarket and never had any problems.

if you take the precautions homesteaders that are farmers do like building something to keep the animals out of the garden or field I forget the name of the structure but it is a frame with a door and heavy duty plastic sheeting around the structure it is worth its weight in gold why farmers do not use it other than homesteaders is beyond me truth garden boxes in the gardens you have to keep the pest out the animals out the rodents or their goes your crops your profits people get sick your done truth
