According to North Indian Culture or our Indian Culture if any servant of God or very Respected person comes the believers use to welcome them by dancing and by clapping 👏 hands, or by giving bouky a bunch of flowers or "Khada" ( a piece of clothing by giving ) and receive them with honors washing the feet etc., I think in every Where in the country it's the same way....
It doesn't mean that Servants are venerated like saints or Worshipped, they are respected man of God and Preachers and teachers of the word are always respected in our society please don't miss understand this view. Thanks!
