Most of Dr Kreeft KZfaqs volume is low if you need to wear headphones outside. If it were louder at least you can turn it down but at full volume it’s not enough to hear.

Without faith nothing is possible. I am apalled at Mrs. Carter's response and then my memory goes back to standing in a labor union hall when I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see a man shorter than me who said "Hi I am Jimmy Carter from Plains GA and I am running for President". Since many years have passed I now see why he was there as I had been assignec to look out for the speaker that night Jane Fonda who was to give an anti Vietnam War speech. Sadly I see now that Solsenitsyn is right and we are on the wrong path he pointed out to us back then. As it turns out I see the possibility that Ted Turner likely funded that awful presidency with Iranian hostages just to meet Jane Fonda. God come to us and save us.

The first 2 seconds and the last 4 seconds of piano music are very loud. That might be why the body of the speech is very quiet. I used earphones, but ouch, those last seconds were painful. Be warned.

Solzenhitzyn's speech is amazing. Kreeft's comments are very enlightening except for insult to Vietnam vets' compulsory draft and sacrifices being compared to a big wet noodle vs North Vietnamese small, hard pin. If Kreeft were a veteran himself, I doubt he would comment so ignorantly. Alexander's comparison of the radical humanist materialism of the West, untethered from submission to God, with the Communist materialism of Russia is appropriate. Both exclude God and Truth.

Does capitalism include God or replaces God with money ..look at most of the western world today, actually it's now former communist Russia that is putting back God in the public space...

The volume is low due to a poor recording process. However, if you turn _up_ the volume then you can hear it better. How about them apples?

I would like to offer this to Trump and his supporters as the answer to the blind thoughts on of legality over morality.

+Chris Downs Legality over morality? Specifically, with respect to what stated or implied Trump policy and secondly, applied specifically to what Trump voter misapprehension, domestic or foreign concern? Would you apply in kind to Clinton and her supporters?
@duketape9995

Chris Downs morality and legality are conjoined twins just like peanut butter and jelly. both are required for true harmony. in fact, laws are based on morally preferable actions.

Duke Tape im just glad people are interested in what peter kreeft has to say. And at the time i was speaking from an emotional response to the character of trump. my point being simply to say just because what he may do in his personal life may be legal (adultery, lying, cheating, rating women based upon their looks, slandering people, etc), i wanted people to understand they are not morally right, especially from a Christian worldview.
@duketape9995

Chris Downs I agree with your conclusion but not your premise. i would also argue that ALL have fallen short of the kingdom of God including Sanders and Clinton.

There was nothing “moral” about Constantine, yet he rescued the Christians from utter ruin, at least in material terms. His sponsorship certainly presented the Christians with many new problems, but no one can say that he had not changed the course of history.
