Alan you don't know what salafism is. The extremists in Luton claim to be salafi but they have nothing to do with 'salafiyyah'. They are renegade.

@@AbuMikhail I’m not a Muslim so I looked into the information available online. As I understand it Salafis are opposed to the doctrines of other, sometimes extreme, Muslims and are conservative in their beliefs. The same applies to Christianity and Judaism as well of course, there are conservatives and extremists within both religions who also follow very strict doctrines.. I’m not religious and have no axe to grind, so if people follow a particular religion that’s none of my business. I only oppose the extremists (of all religions) who seem to believe that their God trumps all, and anyone who disagrees is an enemy who deserves to be exterminated.
