My dog had a cough and i told the vet i I thought there was something in his throat and the vet said no and sent us home with antibiotics. The following week he still had the cough so the vet finally listened to me and put my dog under sedation...well come to find out he had a string in his throat that now was embedded between his throat and tongue. I wish the vet listened to me the 1st time. People know their pets.

I took my cat to the vet because he was constantly crying, won’t drink, won’t eat, won’t really move he stayed in one place because it hurt, he was peeing everywhere, his stomach was tense, and he had sorta pale gums All the vet did was feel his stomach then said “it’s a uti” absolutely no tests done She gave him a shot, pain killers for 3 days, and antibiotics for 7 days Then sent him home He went paralyzed and died two weeks later They dropped the charges which was $170 and I never went back to that vet again

It's one of many! My Dad was from about 10 miles max from St Clears, and his accent wasn't as strong (strong enough, just not so much as there), my mum was from Swansea, further east again, but not by much, but because she was from the "nice side", her accent was much gentler. Mine was stronger (I was from about 25 miles east again) but with a different lilt. I went to a secondary school two villages away up the hill (about 3 miles) and it served 4 big villages and farms all around, and there were about 7 distinct accents there. We could literally pinpoint to within about 2 miles as to where someone was from. And that was just a small area on the south coast! Go further east, west or up north and the accents were very different. "Gogs" (what we jokingly call northerners - short form of the Welsh for north) speak gutterally, whereas in the south we speak nasally. I'm nowhere near as good as picking out an accent now, but I was so glad I could still do it when I went to Milan. I'd been robbed, had a shitty day, returned to the railway station to gtfo, when I heard the 4 village accents I knew so well (by then I'd already moved to England). I went to speak to them and it turned out it was 2 couples who knew my parents! I felt a lot better then lol!

@@jessekerrshaw3261 true you never know how some might react.. personally i''m not easily afraid of animals (i have worked with some larger animals before last year i was studying animal care.. i stopped because of the lesson structure though.. i very much enjoyed the practical lessons but when it came to the rest we literally sat around all day listening and this is really hard for me especially when it's something i've already read up on or know relatively well already.. like with certain diseases for cats and dogs.. thing is i grew up around cats so i know alot of the things that might go wrong) and we had one assignment to shave cows and a classmate of mine had to shave a pretty young cow who had never been shaven before.. she ended up getting kicked because the animal got startled (she wasn't told about it being the first time being shaven if she had she would have been more gentle and less quick about it) luckily it happened to someone who was used being around horses so though it was a startle in the moment she wasn't going to be afraid of the animals because of that one kick.. (now personally i'm the kind of person that is like if i get hurt so be it.. i'll recover and if not well that's too bad isn't it..)

Cattle are very large animals, and bulls especially so. My family always made a point of only ever keeping good tempered cattle. A well-mannered bull is fairly safe around small children, but an ill-tempered one is better off being sent to the butcher. At least that’s what my mum always said.

when her colt was waking up, mum finally had something to say. get up, now. come on. good boy. :) 🐎🐴🌷✨ when the little guy was neighing at the end, what i thought of first was, “Don’t ever try THAT again!” 🐴 😼

Are they in the process of replacing Chris by having Scott do the bigger animals with all the chasing and stuff? I really hope not, Chris has his own special way with all the animals.

Chris is by far my favourite. He's just so sweet and natural. I really hope they arent replacing him

It’s probably his own desire to try it out. Also remember Chris has been doing allot next to being a vet, he might slow down to focus on his irl life.

"he normally eats for England" what does this even mean lol I love it
@jenetikitty
@jenetikitty 4 жыл бұрын
It looks like some sort of local saying that suggests that he is very passionate about, or does a lot. Some careful googling suggests that you also can use it to describe other actions like "talks for England" or similar

It means he could represent England in an international eating contest! Same with anything else “for England”

It's an English saying that you can use for anything,? Eats for England, talks for England, etc. Basically it means that they would win in any competition etc

This is regurgitated footage. As a client I miss the days when, like the Yorkshire Vet, they treated all animals great and small. Phillip Morgan is an outstanding vet who hit the nail on the head every time whether it was the dogs or the large animals. I thought he was the senior partner, there long before David.
