Even though as European countries, they are largely the same economically, the difference I saw in Germany was that there was large respect of human dignity which was not present in the UK. People were nice and respectful in Germany, unlike the UK. There was a sense of humility inspite of Germany's contributions to the world. Immigrants were treated with respect, there was no Islamophobia to my knowledge or my experience. Socioeconomic disparity was far lesser. It broke my heart to hear and see that nearly 20% of children suffer from food insecurity in the UK, something that doesn't exist in Germany. Healthcare is socialized and far more advanced than the UK.

Best way to move forward is to appreciate those who accept and peaceful education to those who don't.
