Simone and Quad struggle to repair their friendship, but a breaking point may be near. Toya and her family struggle to heal from her miscarriage. Dr. Heavenly vents to Damon that Alaura is growing up too fast, but Simone wants her boys to grow up and clean up. Jackie and Simone hatch a surprise dinner with Heavenly and Mariah to work out their issues, but will Heavenly and Mariah run for the door when they discover the ambush?

ABOUT MARRIED TO MEDICINE:
Dr. Jackie is in full renovation mode building a brand-new practice, moving into a new home with Curtis and continuing to rebuild their marriage. Dr. Heavenly and Damon are broadening their medical horizons by opening a surgical center all while keeping the flame in their marriage on high. Dr. Simone and Cecil are still under one roof and enjoying family life as Cecil takes on a new title as Dr. Simone’s assistant. Dr. Contessa is going back to school to get her masters and working to open a new clinic with her husband Scott. Quad is living her best life and feeling liberated as she works on her inner happy and treating herself. Toya and Eugene are looking to add a new member to their family along with moving into their new home. Mariah and Aydin are embracing their children growing up and teaching them life lessons. On the business front, Mariah is working on opening a boutique in her hometown. Buffie is a new friend to the “Married to Medicine” crew and as the wife of psychiatrist Dr. David Purselle, she takes her Mrs. MD very seriously.

Hearing Toya boys express their feelings showed me that we truly underestimate our kids feelings and thoughts. They really are taking it hard and it breaks my heart, so I can only sympathize with her as a mother.

@@awkwardletter9533 Contessa isn't jealous of Toya. I feel that every woman needs to learn to respect each others. It's really sad how there has always been a divide between housewives and working women. Contessa has had the opportunity to stay home and take care of her family and her husband has been super supportive of her. I love Eugene is super support of Toya choice to be a stay at home mom. Neither of these beautiful black women have any reason to be jealous of the other. I wish they both would grow up and mend their relationship because both families are beautiful examples to all of us. I think Contessa needs to stop talking to Dr. Heavenly about her marriage and learn to communicate better with her husband before she be the next Quad. I've learned that what may work in someone else's relationship may not work in yours and the only ones you should consult is God and your husband. Because, your feelings are valid however not always right and the only person who should be in your relationship is God, your husband, and you. PeriodT but I don't think Contessa is jealous of Toya

That exercise you were watching is a common one taught in therapy to help bring issues up for discussion without a fight, and done in love and with a sense of humor, can help build those bonds between you and your family. I'm a big believer in therapy! The other thing that seems to be true universally is that kids spell LOVE as T-I-M-E. I've spent a lot of my time working on these same issues with my family. I wasn't taught any of this in my family of origin, and had to learn to do better as an adult. It's never too little too late when trying to strengthen your family ties. Shirley Nelson I hope you find a way. My kids and I are just like that. I think what I have in common with Simone is having a sense of humor. What you and your family can do is tell jokes, put on a skit, have someone imitate someone. My kids are all adults now, but we still crack jokes on and with each other. We go a see funny movies. Laughter has gotten my family through some really hard times. When your children can see and feel your love for them.....you’ll be amazed how close you all will become. My children are adults and there are 4 of them. I have 2 sons and 2 daughters. They have sibling trips, they go out to eat and the movies together. I feel so blessed that they love and respect each other. Good luck!

You can get there...trust me. It takes time and patience if you didn't start from birth, but it can be done. I have three sons, and I have the same kind of relationship Dr. Simone and Cecil have with their sons. I keep things, open, honest and real with my young lions. They have to feel like they can come and talk to you about anything. Of course they still don't tell me everything, but when the chips are down...they know I have their back. Keep working on it...it will happen. Love and Light

I just started watching this show. And I must say it is the best reality show out today. Although the ladies have lots of fun and argue. I was happy to see the ladies talk about things that are really going on in their life that could possible help someone else. And allows the viewers to see them in a different perspective.

Heavenly acts like a spoiled brat. If Simone is your friend take in what she's saying and listen without being defensive. Calling Simone a liar isn't going to make anything better.

For what ? Heavenly didn't do anything. Simone told us her business and then Cecil came for Heavenly via social media and Heavenly clapped back so please tell me where Heavenly was wrong. And let's not forget that Heavenly did the womanly thing and went to. Simone about it and Simon's response was "She can't tell him what to do, he's grown! " So guess what Heavenly handled it. Move on.
