I still can't believe that in his sequel he was ridiculed and put as a secondary character so that a "diverse Latina girl" comes to save the world from a "white mother who wanted her children back" Sam Raimi may be a "fan" but I leave that woke disney interfered and changed the entire story to distance the protagonist from their movie

Technically, that didn't happen in THIS universe, but in the multiverse where Loki escapes reality and Hydra thinks Captain America is one of them (oh, and Captain America knows Bucky is alive years sooner than he should).

You've got some good answers here, but there's also Bernoulli's Principle. When someone opens a window in a house, or a door, the flow of air changes due to a difference in pressure and this is very often more than enough to alert someone to the presence of another person. The portals opening up likely would incur some airflow due to the difference in pressure from the two locations. The fact that it was happening somewhat rapidly would make it even more disruptive to the library's air.

Couldn't see anyone playing this role better than Benedict. I miss his days as Sherlock Holmes but he knows how to be serious but also have his funny moments. I just hope the writers don't ruin him. Dr. Strange should continue to be the most serious of the Avengers.

It's one of the things that I wonder about. Your physical body would get rest but your mind wouldn't as it is still active. That said, magic factoring in could change that making it a wonderful sleep method to expand your time.

In MCU the mirror dimension never works for Strange. In Doctor Strange, when Strange uses Mirror Dimension against zealots, it is useless as zealots connection with Dark dimension make them more powerful in mirror dimension In Infinity War, Thanos breaks the Mirror Dimension using Power stone. In Spiderman, Strange himself is left captive inside Mirror Dimension. In MoM, Wanda crawls out of Mirror Dimension
