Last week I watched the animated story of Jonah with my kids. Today I received an assignment at work I am not happy about. I've been stressing all morning. I searched for a sermon about Trusting God when I don't understand. None of them helped me through my feelings of anger. Then Jonah came to my mind. I came across this. My God. Thank You. Forgive me Lord. I will be obedient to your word and lean not to my own understanding. In Jesus name. Amen❤

For the last month Jonah continues to come up in all my Bible Studies every single day. I have a feeling God is speaking to me 🤔🤍

They are engaged in warfare as they defend against ISIS. There are three to four million Assyrians worldwide. I'm one of them. I love the story of Jonah, as a former drug addict I can relate to him running away. As someone now dedicated to helping others and pointing others to Grace and Mercy I encouraged that he is one of the better known prophets in history. Jonah preaches! Tony Evans preaches!
