I am a baby boomer who was born and raised in the segregated South for the 1st 17 years of my life,my children were among the starting of busing out of the black communities into the white communities and I was more against it than the racist whites because I never wanted my daughters bused out of our neighborhood,but I was young and thought I had no other choice.However,I told them if they felt disrespected by their teaches don't hesitate to tell me and they did,so I handled the situation at the time.Years later my granddaughter was being mistreated in school and she could not tell me what was happening because she was unable to articulate,and her teacher seemed to be uncaring about her condition so after having unsuccessful meetings with the school board I took her out of school to be home schooled and I never enrolled her into the public school system again.

There have been multiple race riots between Latino and black kids at schools in Southern California since the 1980s and something tells me it has a potential to spread where Latino numbers are growing in other states.

From Day 1 teach the children. Abc, count, Take them to the zoo, library, museum. Start educating the children early DO NOT WAIT until they are 5 years old.
