I think you should actually test the products out first, because the aveeno daily moisturiser never breaks me out and is the only cream which doesn't trigger my eczema and heals my skin barrier on my face And the dark blue aveeno is really moisturising, especially for eczema and in the winter!

Aveeno has been listening and recently stepping it up. They'd always marketed themselves as the all natural derm product but was filled with drying alcohols and fragrance. Glad to see they're doing better for us with sensitive skins and not just claiming it.

Dr V! You really praised the Aveeno Moisturising Cream. I use it for my body but now that you educated me on the ingredients, I realised the moisturising cream that got your seal of approval and you liked it so much as to put it on the DR V favourites list, also has all the problematic ingredients that you didn't like in the other Aveeno products. I am pasting the ingredients list for the moisturising cream from their website. Please look into it. It has isopropyl palmitate, isopropyl alcohol, also sodium chloride and benzyl alcohol (cant you please also talk of the last two ingredients)? I am asking you for this because i use this cream but it seems to have problematic ingredients.

By the way, this video is a GREAT example of rhe difference between doctors who know ingredients and those who don't. I've had several derms tell me to use Aveeno and I have oily acne prone skin. An index of products would be great!

Ive been so waiting for this! I love aveeno for body, its the only brand that cures my dermatitis and dry skin. I use the Aveeno Dermexa lotion and the balm for dry patches, I also like the daily moisturising creamy lotion. I don't use the face products though

I've been using the Aveeno soothing relief baby emollient cream on my face and it hasn't given me any problems. Its fragrance free and it keeps my skin moisturised in the cold weather. Aveeno seems to have quite a few different lines.

I have eczema and I used both products you told us not to use in this vid (skin relief and Emollient one) really really wish this video had been out when I bought them because I had a massive flare up of eczema and used both these products thinking it would help - however it made it ten times worse Thank you for doing these vids can not tell you how much we appreciate them xxx god bless you abundantly ❤️

Hi, Iv just stumbled across your channel and started binge watching. Great content and so much useful info. I wonder if you could please make a video about hormonal acne. Everything I come across refers to acne prone skin as oily skin but I have normal to slightly dry/dehydrated skin with hormonal acne. I’m confused about what skin care I should use for that. I never had acne/pimples or spots at all until I hit 30 and now it’s all over my cheeks jawline chin and neck. Please please please help!!!

Hi Dr V. Thanks for your great works. This video is good. I use Niacinimide 10% from TO. It feels itchy and tingly especially when I apply my moisturizer on top. I’m also getting all these pimples I’m not sure if it’s the niacinimide. What do you think Dr. V🙏🏾

Seems like the Daily Emollient Cream has been reformulated (or maybe it's a different formulation in different regions)? In Australia, these are the ingredients currently for that product: "Water, Glycerin, Panthenol, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil, Steareth-20, Benzalkonium Chloride, Ceramide NP Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Sodium Chloride (F# E1492-027)" (so no isopropyl alcohol)

I currently use their Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 and have used it for years. I do have acne (mild to cystic sometimes) and it seems this is the only moisturizer that moisturizes (with an SPF) without being greasy. How does this line of Aveeno (Positively Radiant) compare for dark skin?

Hi, what do you think of the aveeno Positively Mineral SPF50? It's the only affordable SPF I can find (on iherb) that doesn't contain alcohol. Do you have any other low cost options that are SPF50, alcohol free, physical and available in the UK? I'm currently using a Garnier one but the alcohol is not agreeing with my eczema or my acne. I must say I do use the Aveeno for extra dry skin but it does not dry my skin and helps a lot with my very dry eczema skin if you can recommend something else but this cream i think is good

Hiya Dr V, you always mention that we need to use oil post moisturizer to lock the moisture in. Could I please please please request you to make a video on the best oil to use, if you haven't yet?!!! I'm in Australia and the dry weather causes my skin to go dry, especially my hands, they are cracked and the skin on my fingers has become hard and dull. I use a hand cream but want to know what oil I can use to lock the moisture. Thanks heaps!!
