So here is Emperor of the Daleks! It is a adaptation of Paul Cornells fantastic comic strip, which i recommend to give a read. In order to comply with certain guidelines i have made a few changes, most notable is that instead of the 6th doctor and peri, its now an 11th doctor and Amy story. Set during series 5 but after the City of the Daleks game, which where classed as part of Series 5. It also has a number of easter eggs in it.
For the Daleks and Davros's perspective this takes place just after Revelation. So from their side the 11th doctor is to them next doctor after colin. I did it so that adds to why the Daleks always know the doctor in different incarnations.
A massive thank you to all the cast who helped me and took the time to make this project come alive. This has been a massive passion project over the last 8 and half months. So again thank you to all those who helped. This will also most likely be the last full production i doing using 3DS Max, as i will be moving over to blender as it way more functional and is free as i can no longer afford the expensive subscription charges for 3ds max.

I am *BLOWN AWAY* by this animated adaptation of Emperor of the Daleks! Really superb effort, Dalek Seth & to all of the voice actors involved! Im honoured to have voiced a few Dalek Drones here & there & im always available to voice more Daleks so let me know! 😃👍

I was honored when you asked me to play a Dalek for this ESPECIALLY when I found out it was my favorite Dalek! And seeing the finished project just makes me feel even more honored! The effort this must've taken to make it beyond me. EXCELLENT WORK and a million thanks for letting me be a part of it!

After watching since my childhood in the mid-60s, I finally stopped watching Doctor Who about 2/3 of the way through Matt Smith's watch. I looked at a couple of Peter Capaldi episodes, and I think he would have made a great Doctor, but... it just wasn't Doctor Who anymore. But I would definitely watched this. No comic relief, no "all over in 30 minutes", and the Daleks were not incompetent morons. This is like a real episode of the original series. My favourite New Who episode was "Dalek", because of how invincible a single Dalek was shown to be, neutralising every threat in an instant. There were iffy moments in that episode, too, because the Doctor pretty much didn't do anything in what was meant to be his show. His childish "Oh, yeah?" "Oh, yeah?" back-and-forth with van Statten was irritating in the extreme.

I wonder what would happen if you combined this with the novel and audio drama Davros. It would be an interesting idea to use these ideas to make a unified version of the story that lead Davros to become the new emperor of the Dalek's. You can even use the actual audio for the "Davros" parts. If you like you can also have two groups of Doctor's and companions, turning this into a crossover.

I remember growing up in the 1970's and Dr. Who was showing channel 54 in the San Francisco Bay Area. I just wish some over the air station would show this classic show.

Kudos for paying attention to some of the smaller details like their list of doctor faces stopping at 6 since all of this is to be happening in the doctor's past. . However I don't understand how the doctor could get his past and future mixed up. Unlike entities like The Moment of the soul of the TARDIS, the doctor doesn't exist across all of time and space simultaneously ( at least not yet)- he just travels across all time and space. At most he may get mixed up if some event occurred in the past or future relative to where and when he currently is but he'd never confuse his past vs his future.

It's too bad that the Doctor was forced to help Davros escape to insure that a chain of events vital for the universe's survival takes place, I agreed with the Dalek Emperor about Davros and so did the other Daleks. Even the Dalek who felt that they should spare Davros for the time being only did so because he wanted to see them squeeze all the knowledge out of Davros and use him as a resource to advance themselves.

Anyone else getting _City of the Daleks_ flashbacks? Ofc this story is very different, but the similarities are fun. 11th Doctor: ‘Amy, something weird has happened to time, and the Daleks are involved.’ Amy: ‘Again?’ 11th Doctor: ‘To fix things, we have to travel to the city of Kaalann on Skaro.’ Amy: ‘Again?!’ 11th Doctor: ‘I’m going to mess around with the Daleks’ technology to gain access to their security systems.’ Amy: ‘Again?!?’ 11th Doctor: ‘And I need to blind the Daleks, especially the ones in the imperial throne room. Watch out for the ones panicking and firing blind.’ Amy: ‘Again?!?!’

No not conscious choice, I have a tied down tongue which means I have problems pronouncing some letters, words some sentences. Nothing can be done for it.

It was my way of explaining how the daleks recognised the doctor, ie in victory of the daleks. They knew it was the doctor. So this is my way of explaining how they know his 11th incarnation, though the daleks here think it's his 7th

@@AnubisX1 I think they knew it was The Doctor because Churchill and Amy kept calling him "The Doctor", plus he was the only person who was reacting to them with abject horror and calling them "Daleks". Also, in "Doomsday", the Cult of Skaro see The Doctor briefly in the background and immediately become agitated and aren't sure why, before Rose tells them he's The Doctor; so, it seems that Daleks can subconsciously recognise The Doctor pretty much on sight, purely by how angry and frightened they become around him. The other thing is that the Daleks know The Doctor is a time-traveller (like themselves) and they know that he often changes his appearance; they may or may not by this point who the Time Lords are as well. So, there would be no reason for them to automatically assume that ANY new Doctor they meet is the immediate successor to the last one they encountered (nor really care) rather than any they haven't encountered already; from the Dalek's POV, they are probably running into Doctor's all the time in totally random orders- the Dalek Emperor or the Time Controller or Strategist could have been dealing with multiple Doctor's at around the same time from their perspective, even.

Yeah, my lines could've used a bit of work. I recorded them at around mid-August time so, it was quite a while ago. I struggle to voice them in the accents the daleks have in the main show, but I gave it the best i got none the less.

The animation isn't bad, some of the voices need work, however no reason the swap out 6 and Peri you just don't like the Classic Era and 6 in particular. Keep up the good work just be an adult and honest about your reasons people will respect you more.

I love the classic era and I grew up with McCoy. The Patrick troughton and pertwee eras are my favourite, power of the daleks, dominators, seeds of death, sead devils, death to the daleks and Curse of fenric are my favourite classic era stories. The reason for the changes, they were requested when I was getting permission to make this so it would stay with the outdated guide lines and just because I used a new who doctor doesn't mean I don't like the classic era.
