Snape seemed to care more about him than his own father did… When he fell off his broom, and his father just scowled at him, my heart broke. 😭

When he joins his parents and Voldemort in the last movie, Draco doesn't even have the choice. What hurts more is that he only went for his mother, but nobody asked him to stay. He didn't want to go, but he had nobody to ask him to stay by their side, and he loved his mother more than anything else, she was the only one who cared for him in the end. Other than her, he was so lonely it's painful.

So beautiful, Draco is, how Narcissa said, just a boy.

Whenever I tell someone I love Draco, they look at me all weird and say “But.. he’s a villain.” But really, he’s not. He’s just a boy who had no choice, and life was harder than everyone thought. I love him so much.

Not to forget we were robbed of the scene where Draco runs to give Harry his wand, he yelled 'Potter' with concern & not hatred which he had been doing. Honestly it was unfair to delete it bcz the audience needs to know that he had good in him as well & so he shouldn't get the hate. He was just a kid who was made to think a certain way but it doesn't mean he liked it, I mean before he did but he changed. If he liked it later then he wouldn't have been suffering, torn between choosing his friends or family. Only those people who have understood the characters in depth will know. We're all human & we all made mistakes. I recommend you watch 'A silent voice'.

Forgiveness. That’s all Draco wanted. Yet, even as an adult, Harry refused to forgive. But Draco literally bared his soul to Harry, sharing some of his deepest secrets, even though Harry still refused to forgive him. “It’s very lonely, being Draco Malfoy. I will always be suspected. I can never escape the past.” Just that hurts my heart. Draco shouldn’t be lonely as an adult with a loving son, yet he is.

The part that hurt the most was when Draco's parents wanted him to join their side with the Death Eaters and you can just see that he doesn't want to go over there. He wants to be on the side that defeats Voldemort, but he can't and you can just see how that breaks him.

That scene when draco fell off his broom and even Snape looked to see if he was ok and his own father just scowled at him and looked dissapointed. So heartbreaking

I'm not lying, this gave me tears to my eyes. NO ONE saw his pain, thats what makes it unbearable to see him suffer. he had absolutely no choice, they would have taken his life. he is just a character, but he is one of the ones i've seen who've suffered the most.

We need a movie called Draco Malfoy, it would be the same story line but from his perspective. Just imagine how amazing it would be to see how complex his character is. Even JK Rowling didn’t realize what kind of character she wrote. She imagined him pure evil but he came out as good. She wrote him but her words created a whole different character than her vision

All of my friends are like: Don't feel bad for Draco he was a bad guy. But I'm like: Nobody truly knew what he was going through and he was so pressured to do what he thought right but was actually wrong that all the sadness, and anger just built up inside him but he never got to let it out in the correct way and he turned out to become depressed.

This is why I could never hate his character. He was trying the best with what he had. He was trying to survive. He got dealt a shitty hand in the game of life. He didn't want it. But he couldn't change it. He was just a boy, as Narcissa said. He was manipulated. He never had a choice. I think under different circumstances, if he weren't born with Lucius as a father, if he lived in a world where Voldemort and the death eaters didnt exist, he would have been a great asset and example in Slytherin House. Given it a better name. Used his cunning and ambition for good, instead of letting fear and misguided arrogance get the best of him. He was able to build a good life for himself, after, despite the evil of his past that I'm sure haunted him for the rest of his life. He's strong. He could have been a lot like Harry, if he had the people Harry did, to surround and influence him with good. Some people may say, "oh but Harry grew up with the Dursleys raising him and they were awful to him" well believe me. Being raised by a cruel father, someone that is your direct flesh and blood and has complete ownership of your life, is on a completely different level than being raised by someone that isn't. Extended family the Dursleys may have been, but they were never pivotal to Harry's character. They didn't shape him. They brought him misery but they did not have lifechanging influence. Draco is the boy who never stood a chance with the circumstances he was given. I can't bring myself to feel anything but sorrow for him. A child deserves better.

He's just trying to prove his worth to everybody. His parents, Snape, himself. He's overwhelmed. We now understand what he's been through. Like any bully, they probably have more going on than you know. You must look more profound than what you see in someone. His parents- were scared to have courage against Voldemort.
