On Marina's performance: Cha-Cha refers to Charter Change which is a constitutional reform that GMA (her character, the former president) wanted to pass in order to stay in power. "I am sorry," was part of her monologue as an apology for an election cheating scandal that involved a wire tapped conversation of her talking to the head of the Commission of Elections regarding her fixed lead. As a recurring theme here, when a corrupt politician is exposed, they usually appear in public in a weakened facade which involves neck braces and wheelchairs. Marina tried to take the neck brace off as a joke that she actually wasn't injured and was only trying to buy sympathy. All in all, she NAILED that performance and would've been a shoe-in for the win had it not been for her underwhelming runway.

This is why representation matters, I’ve watched all of the us seasons and every time I watch snatch game I’m not sure if they are slaying or not because I don’t know most of the celebrities and I don’t get some of the jokes. This is the first snatch game where I understood everything and know who they are impersonating, so I’m really happy that we have drag race philippines. Also all of them slayed the impersonation and very funny except brigiding and minty. My personal winner for this challenge is marina or eva.

What i love about this reactor is that she is not afraid to speak the truth. This is pure reaction unlike other reactors who are keep on saying nice things just to please the viewers. KUDOS TO YOU Val😘😘😘

First of all, GIRL!!! Hats off to you for pushing through this version of snatch game. I thought this would be the biggest hurdle for foreigners watching this version of drag race. There's a lot of nuance, word play, cultural references that a lot of people not living in the country for a long time will not understand but you are resilient!!! One word play that I think is a nice touch from Eva Le Queen is her answer "Tampalpuke" which is a regional name for a flounder fish (or a flat fish) but it's also a combination of the words tampal and puke. Tampal means slap and puke is the female's nether region, meaning emphatically slapping someone's vag - these words the majority of Filipinos understand. Tampalpuke, on the other hand, is only generally understood by people in one region (those from Cavite). Eventually, Eva clarified that it means something else to the general audience. When Mama Pao asked what's the name of the husband of a Tampalpuke called, most Filipinos would think Tampaltite (slap a dick) but Eva answered Mr. Tampalpuke, committing to the meaning that is not risque but everyone knows she's also thinking that tampaltite is also an answer but subverted everyone's expectations because that is also what the person she's portraying would do. Plus there's also the imagery of a flat fish that most Filipinos would think what a vag would look like after being slapped hard.

Viñas is actually funny as Kris and yeah, you really need to see how Kris Aquino talks to relate to Viñas.

As a Filipino who understands the references, I think this is a pretty good Snatch Game. Not the best but it turned out better than expected. Eva, Marina and Xilhouette did really well in the challenge, but I should say, Marina was the best because all of her punchlines were really relevant and had political nuances. It's just a bummer that she had an underwhelming runway presentation. Xilhouette deserved that win.

If you knew these people, you would've died laughing at Marina, Xilo and Eve. On point.

Marina is actually brave for impersonating an infamous politician who recently regained power. She did so well I'm scared for her life. lol P.S. Xilhouete did a good job too and she won, but I think Marina became the iconic one in this episode.

The only ones who were really serving in the Snatch Game were Marina, Xilhouete and Eva. Marina had the best run all throughout. 💯 Xilhouete was unexpectedly the funniest because her character in not originally funny! 😱 Eva was not as consistent as the other two but she had her moments 😍

Vinas did well on Kris Aquino's character (wearing yellow). That's really her personality. Well the translation did not give justice on her jokes but the way she portrayed her character is good. That high tone voice is really part of her character that's why it may appear a little bit annoying to others but filipinos gets it. She's a talkshow host, very straightforward and sometimes shady but still keeping that voice and interrupting others is her thing. 😂 Eva Le Queen character is like Jennifer Coolidge. Marina Summers character is our former president and her "i am sorry" moment is one of the most unforgettable scene here in the PH because of the political scandal and electoral crisis in the PH. the nation caught her cheating on the election.

Tagalog jokes when translated to English becomes unfunny. As a Filipino viewer I really enjoyed the snatch games maybe because I know who are they impersonating (minus minty fresh) and the story they’re telling. Xil, Eva and Marina really did great the snatch game, but have to give it to Xil cause she makes a character from serious to funny. Minty and brigiding is weakest. and for me the runway is pretty underwhelming.

Same goes with us filipinoes that sometimes doesnt get the jokes or referrence for the character on US or UK version.. but i think, we were able to relate on some, since we understand the language.. For me, being good in comedy, you can do any character and make it funny regardless of the language barrier.. classic example is katya as bjork (i cant understand what shes saying but i am laughing..) also marina and xilhoutte.. you dont now the character but you are laughing..

When Eva La Queen says "Talampuke" the first thing that comes to our mind is "puke" which is also a funny english translation of "pussy".. But the thing is, Talampuke is not a familiar word in the PH and some people didnt know that it was a tagalog translation of "Flounder Fish". That's why the humor behind it is like she's playing to your mind not to think of pussy but using the "Talampuke" term to cover it.

It was actually a really funny episode if you would get the filipino references. I agree with the decision to put brigiding and minty in the bottom though, they deserved that. As far as xilhouette or marina, marina killed the snatch game for me but yeah, xilhouette gave more effort on the runway maybe that was her winning point. I was really disappointed with the runway ruveal looks too, obviously as so did the judges and you’re right that was one hella long snatch game. Nonetheless a good episode, way better than the last for sure, last episode was just cringey for me to watch lol.

Marina Summers and Eva Le Queen won that snatch game. Marina was so politically aware and hilarious that I am scared for her safety. Just a background: PGMA had a huge scandal back in day (kinda like Watergate scandal in the US). She was about to be jailed but she pulled the neckbrace and wheelchair out. Actually Minty's drop during the lip snyc was so messy that it actually work to her advantage as she was able to gather all the attention to her and get Brigiding's cartwheel ignored. And as for Minty relying on her beauty it was because the song is 'Amakabogera' which means I'm a Kabogera (Stunner) and the song was about her being beautiful and doesn't care what other people thinks. So all her face face face beauty face nuances fits the song perfectly

It seems like the editors showed all the questions and the contestants' answers with very minimal cuttng/editting that's why the Snatch Game was too long> Unlike other snatch games which sometimes I found so short in contrast

When xilohuette said ''to be stiff just like this person behind me'', I think she referred to Marina's character because the exPresident is really stiff or portrays to be stiff because of the neck problem she has. This apparently and instantaneously went well when she was cleared of her criminal charges. PGMA was also known for admitting having to get a breast implant despite the whole team behind her denying it previously.

Hi Ms. Valery! All calls made on this episode was right for me. I agree with Xilhouette winning because she ticked all the requirements for me. Marina did so well in the Snatch Game. She's the winner of the Snatch Game for me, but her runway look kinda fell flat, so it was the right call to give the win to Xilhouette. For the bottoms, I agree too. Brigiding and Minty were the worst in the Snatch Game. They need to still work on their comedies. As with the Snatch Game, I think it was a good Snatch Game. There were many times that I really laughed. Maybe there were really just too many references that would be hard for foreigners to grasp because they came from a long line of history and pop culture in the Philippines. The only thing that I didn't like about the Snatch Game was the length. I agree with you, Ms. Valery on the length. I felt like 4 questions will do. for me, it's so looong. i enjoyed viñas on her kris, the voice and stuff is so accurate. but her next character is meh. it was my favorite if she didn't change character, so marina became the best for me. xil is really good too, which i didnt expect because dr. belo is not "funny" in real life, she's a famous plastic surgeon/aesthetician for celebrities

Viñas' jokes were not really landing but her Kris' characterization was good at least. Eva's Ruffa Mae deserves more praise imo. International audience may not find her funny which is understandable since they wouldn't get her references but it was very on point and so funny to us Filipinos or to me at least. Marina's PGMA was extremely smart and funny. Her runway was a miss though. If she only nailed her runway, she might have earned her 2nd ru-badge. Xilo was unexpectedly really goooood and she had the best runway. She deserved the win

It’s my first time watching snatch game knowing all references. So i love it! But i agree this episode is so looooong. 😂 Personally, Marina summers won the snatch game. Her answers references GMA every single time. It was reference after reference. Ugh, love her! Eva is amazing as well! That ‘tampalpuke’ joke is really for the books! Viñas’ first character was kinda accurate. Kris was kinda obnoxious and kinda dominates every conversation/interview. But i agree that she’s kinda ‘throwing off’ xilo a little bit. Viñas uses xilo’s material about belo not able to move her face, that’s why for me the joke was kinda spoiled. But still love viñas! But i kinda understand how Xilo won the episode. Her character is a famous dermatologist for the celebrity, not really a funny character so when she turned it out, like make belo funny is really brilliant! Lastly, this song for LSFYL is amazing! This is a such a serve song. Very walking down the runway serving face song. Honestly, they should save this song for the finale.

here again to explain, this snatch game is actually funny but it’s really so hard to explain since there’s a lot of word play. marina performed the best in this snatch game for me, not that she lit got the voice and expressions perfectly, it’s also POLITICALLY RELEVANT esp with a lot of things happening in our country. the garci and snatch pertained to her cheating on the election of the presidency. Paolo is also a member of host of a noontime show where in the studio hosts asks “ asawa ni? “ ( husband of? ) when they say funny names or words. for example a word was said such as “ babala “ ( means a warning ) then the other hosts will ask “ asawa ni? “ and they will respond “ babalu “ ( a familiar 90’s comedian name )
