There’s a huge difference between British and American humour. British humour is based a lot around banter which makes it perfect for drag queens

@@rannierunsfast They’re given prompts by the producers to create storylines and are far more heavily edited than previous seasons. Whoever edited for BBC did so much better than whoever’s doing the storyline and editing production for WOW

This is exactly it. Stephen Fry put it something like this (im paraphrasing), that in a comedy where someone gets pied in the face, an american comedian would want to play the character doing the pie-ing, whereas a british comedian would want to play the character that gets pied. American humour is about being on top and one-upping everyone, they have to be the funniest smartest person in the room that everyone laughs WITH. Whereas british humour is much more comfortable with being laughed AT, it's self deprecating and people don't take themselves too seriously

I wouldve been happy with any of the top 3 winning, but I think Tayce was shat on hardways. She shouldve won ep 1 and been the solo winner of ep 5, and I think she looked better than Awhora in ep 3. She only shouldve lipsynced for the unconventional materials challenge

Yeah, the judges do because Lawrence isn't a judge - Ru is and it was his bias that gave Lawrence the crown.

For an american I don't think she does a terrible job, I've certainly seen worse. I find michelle more annoying actually as she comes across as a bit of a british-boo, if that's even a word lol, she tries so hard to make it seem like she understands the culture so well, but she doesn't so it seems a bit cringe and pandering. I agree an all british judging panel would be ideal tho
