I finally managed to get the chance to checkout Clastres Dragway in France for the 24th European Dragster event and what a place it is! A really cool location and well organised too with 7 nationalities in attendance across the classes, I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see some more grassroots style drag racing in Europe.

i think the peugeot is actually something else with a 406 coupe front end, i think maybe it's a late 90s pontiac grand prix?

Yeah it’s a Renault Laguna with a 406 front end

just watched this on another device whilst rebuilding my vdub and have to say, bugs on 10x15s' are th best. french drag racing and not one of them gave up b4 th end! not like them is it? keep on truckin' m8.

Nice Video...again 😉 But i dont get it with the sometimes delayed start lights and the results table confuses me too 😅 one time it flashes above with the slower time, lower vmax and the other also finished first🤔and sometimes the table is red, sometimes not (jumped start maybe?) 🥴🫣

Thank you, haha that’s because it’s mainly bracket classes but they don’t show what the dial ins are so it may have been breakouts, there was a few red lights too

@@mk1kieran I think the dial-ins are sometimes shown as the digits shown in the blue box on the screen? At least that was my explanation of these while watching on YT ^^ But not every car had them. The diesel Seats etc. often were shown with a 0??

Ahh you could be right! I think the Diesel SEATs were in a RWYB/Test & Tune class so no dial ins
