Missed this one first time round, some really interesting stuff here. I remember watching jet cars and trucks at Santa Pod Raceway many many years ago. Two that still stand out in my mind are a long white streamlined beast called The Scorpion and a Ford Cargo truck ( 7.5 tonnes GVW/15000lbs when in road trim), both were a sensation back in the day, we'd never before seen anything like them. Love the VW Chevy Rebellion, that 1/4 mile wheelstand was amazing. Imagine having a quiet "sit down" in that plastic PortaCan if he fired it up right outside. Love the 'bumper sticker' message too.
