Mcbride ran an incredible 5.830 elapsed time at 232.75 miles per hour for the win! This was a historic final round,marking the first time a V-Twin Top Fuel Nitro burner would face off against an import Top Fuel Nitro Methane injected drag bike.

Not a really big fan of drag races and stuff.. but I gotta admit, that was pretty sick! It was almost an insult to challenge that other bike. What an incredible machine. Love to see people do what they love to do!

These guys are beyond brave, and beyond fast! 5.83 on a motorcycle is as close to riding a missile as it gets, and no, you won't see Danica Patrick trying it. These guys are a small and different breed. Most men (because we want to stay in one piece) shy-away from doing what they do.

CHeath very well said. I have made similar comments, and I have a saying"ride what you like and like what you ride" I own an 09 HD NightTrain and no issues to date but I dont think they are the best, but they are among the best. I dont believe any make is the best. If that makes sense.

Good example of what these machines are made up of. Of course the riders have the harder job but the technology that goes into these machines is crazy. In a good way! The size of that blower on the metric bike......When he starts it, if someone had a car that sounded like that on the street, people would be like HOLY CRAP!!Let alone that this is a motorcycle.....

Dan Nork: I do know that these drag-bikes are extremely quick. 3 times faster than a jet launch off an aircraft carrier. Compare the two in the footage that requires for the jet to get air-born vs the time to get there. The bikers use every thing just to stay on their bikes, much less steer them without taking a left turn through the lights.

I'm from Moultrie, but live in Prescott, Arizona, these last several years. Nice to hear the accents. No one talks like that out here. Makes me a bit homesick. That's a nice track. I remember when they built it. Looks like they put some bleachers over there on the pit side, toward Hwy 41. Anyone racing on the round track these days? Quite a scene, the top fuel dragbike thing. Did not know they ran top fuel in bikes. Did the Harley rider red light?
