‪@dragdown‬ Hey.....I usually can control myself, but this band is just too good. I went to write down some questions for the band and thought I should be a little more familiar with the band's music. I've only heard a few songs. Well...song after song was just a BANGER and I haven't ran into that too often. Most band I hear are new with a small amount of music or it is a bit hot-or-miss with their catalog.
Dragdown is all good....pick a year.
So, here I am just going through random songs and giggling like an idiot because they are so good.

Japan and their awesome rock and metal bands. I discovered them last month. I am enjoying their music. They are trying to get crowdfunding for 2 new music videos.

Damnnn! Reminds me of Nuclear Assault..but with more melodic parts/singing...and actually some harsher vocals..very heavy but quite interesting..! I like!👍

I'm so happy to see Dragdown getting so much love from everyone. they deserve it. Really glad we got this band in front of you and GG and so much appreciate you helping to promote them. As others have said, they are looking for sponsors to help crowdfund their next couple video releases-you can get your name into a video if you sponsor during the campaign.

I agree Ryan this band is awesome! Just discovered them and ordered their latest EP CD through the link in their channel. Nothing on CDJapan unfortunately :( I note on their community post on KZfaq from 4 days ago they are currently looking for sponsors for their next MV - maybe the GGs can oblige?

I quickly checked and I'm not convinced they have physical releases (I was blind and didn't read your comment fully apparently). It seems like everything on metal archives says digital. But I will most likely request a proxy on CD Japan if I find something. I will probably request one of the Kokeshi albums and aoie us fear albums as well in the not so distant future (some of the stuf the Gaijin Guys listened to the last couple of weeks).

Well that shows you how well I read at 4 am. I will try to find their site and request it on CD Japan. You can easily ask them to add stuff. It only seems to be one CD so you already ordered it, I am curious if they will add my request from that site (it looks kinda sketch), but I think they will.

I couldn't find anything either. CDJapan is looking into releases, but Dragdown and Dimrays don't currently have anything available

@@RyanMear I wasn't personally planning on getting a Dimrays CD, but I checked to see if I could request a proxy for you (CD Japan is fine with you not buying the request anyway). But the Dimrays store has only 1 CD and it seems sold out. I also noticed it is already on the CD Japan store. I think the best course of action is to go to the Dimrays store, request a restock and when you get the mail try to request a proxy on either CD Japan or an other service. I did that with the first Hanabie CD which always sold out very quickly and they didn't ship outside of Japan.

They declined my proxy request for the Dragdown CD unfortunately. I was able to add a couple of others though, like Kokeshi and aoie us fear as well as 2 others that are unrelated. I have had this happen before, they also never give info on why they decline it unfortunately. Not much that can be done instead of trying on other proxy sites, but what I like about CD is that this makes it available for other people as well. Both Kokeshi and aoie us fear are now on their site. There aren't any images yet, but they will most likely be added later.

Some of the drums sounded programmed, but I just noticed that they are a 2-piece at the moment and apparently lost a member, so I guess that makes sense. What I like about this is that they have plenty of metal riffs, while most heavier bands I hear nowadays mainly play metalcore riffs with very few actual metal riffs (I get tired really quickly of metalcore riffs). This has metalcore riffs as well (the last track you played), but some of their riffs sound like death metal riffs instead. I appreciate that, it brings variety in their sound. I am not completely sold on her cleans, but these studio tracks have a lot of production which might be the reason, but her harshes sound really good. I subbed to their channel and am happy to check out more.

Hello Ryan, I was wondering if you had a chance to listen to a couple more songs from Big Iron? I wanted to see if you have heard anything from some great bands that I like that not many reactors check out like Nevermore, Carnal Forge, Scar Symmetry, Darkane, or Pissing Razors? Just a few bands that I really think are incredible.

@@RyanMear the thing I think you might like is the great guitar playing and cool riffs from these bands. The guitar riffs are what really is enjoyable for me.
