I enjoy these old radio shows. Knew about them but was introduced to them in college; my college station WBJB, Brookdale (Lincroft NJ) Community College ran The Shadow and You Bet Your Life when I was a freshman.

The owner of the stolen caddy was the guy who had the Egyptian Mouth Dweller fish in the episode Joe got shot in a couple of episodes ago.

The broadcasting stations often reused tapes multiple times. Older tapes had “ghosts” of old programs on them like this. This is coincidentally, why so many programs were lost. They weren’t actively destroyed, just negligently or apathetically destroyed. The same thing happened with magnetic video tapes. Many early NASA tapes were written over, as were many tv broadcasts.
