To set the scene: your homebase has just been destroyed and you are fleeing together with the remnants of your army, then when morale is at an all time low (lots of injured soldiers and the generals are fighting over what to do next) one woman, a cleric, starts singing this song. Over the duration of the song others start joining her and at the end the entire army is singing together. In my opinion one of the most powerfull moments in gaming history.

One of the reasons i love this song is it sheer power That is why i love movie version hanging tree also a lot more then just the normal version as in the movie at one point what is to believed an enitre district starts singing wish they would have made a version like that you can listen to without the gun fire

I finished it a few days ago. I would say that i love the journey (they were a lot of cool moments) but the ending was kinda meh. I played also Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2. For me Origins its the best of all. The characters (Leliana, Morrigan, Alistair were such a good companions and i couldn't feel a connection like that with other characters in the others games), also it was so immersive the story even with those old graphics. I hope we can get a remaster soon of Origins it totally deserve it.

@@steveeriksen7652 If you have the dlcs, it takes the ending further, an if you romance Solas, it just makes it so much more bittersweet in a way, because you actually get a small chance to try an hunt him down (granted you don't know right off the bat who you are chasing) I have origins an 2 as well, an honestly, DA:I is still my favorite. One of the few games I have actually replayed 10+ times. Lol

I know this is Dragon Age, but when I hear you sing this song, I picture: Sailors on a ship on foggy calm night. They hear a faint voice through the mist; a song. The fog thickens as the lullaby grows louder. The words and melody seem to seep into their very soul. Entranced, they are unable to move as the clouds billow in front of them. Then as the mist begins to part, the singing, glowing silhouette of a beautiful woman appears on the bow of ship. As she whispers her final words "The dawn will come...", her once ocean blue eyes begin to blaze fiery red. The sailors have but time to gasp before being consumed by the sea. Content with her claim, the Siren disappears back into the mist.

Played this series as it came out. Gameplay was good, soundtrack was better. I cried the first time I played Inquisition and heard this. A time when everyone should lose hope. It actually makes them all stronger. That's the beief of games like this. The Dawn will Come. 😊
