So we get to see a glimpse of what Solas intends with his reaction.

Solas is one of those characters that I love and cherish, but at the same time it’s way too fun to constantly *bully him.* Seeing him get taken down a peg like this just honestly gives me life XD

He's a narcissistic psychopath who only fell in love with Lavellan because she's 1. an elf (like him), and 2. Intelligent (like him), in a position of power (like him), and curious (about his interests) 😩 and yet we adore him. He's such a good villain omfg.

OMG... I'm one of those who love Solas (even after the n-th playthrough) but this... this was pure win :))) "I am the Dread Wolf, [...] destroyed my people, [...]I intend to restore them. Doing so will most likely destroy your world. ...Also, your mark is getting worse." Because the end of the world wasn't enough for your downer ending, Solas, you just HAD to make it personal.

Since the Anchor doesn't flair up again until after Solas finishes his explanation, no matter what you say or how long that explanation takes, I like to imagine that he reactivates it on purpose for drama.

Ha! Even if someone did not like Solas, there is no real excuse for not talking to him. On the surface he is very unintresting, which is his full intention, but as you see now, he is a lot more on the inside.

Why *should* she thank you, Solas? You're (indirectly) the reason she had the mark on her hand to begin with? You gave your orb to Corypheus knowing what he'd need to do to unlock it and that such an action would kill everyone around it. You care nothing for life, only your ideals. You speak of understanding but apply it only to one group. So glad the Inquisitor got to hit you.

He was never the reason that the inquisitor got the mark. That was the mistake of Corepheus, or a straight up accident

He explains in another ending that his agents lead the venatori to the orb, but he also says that the blast of the explosion was supposed to kill corypheus. The inquisitor just so happened to be there.

The best versions of Solas are when you punch him in the face or kiss him in the face. Face contact is required for maximum effect.
