I already beat the game, but I went back and killed the dragon with a cheat code (oh no! I used cheat codes AFTER I beat the game! I'm so naughty) just so I can see what would happen if I didn't take Morrigan's deal. and its aaaawwww!!!

Archdemon with many of his servants politely waits in corner, while noble heroes discussing questions of life and dead, kissing and hugging. Such a charming situation))))

I'm not complaining, I love Dragon age and Alistair! But I think it's great that the Archdemon is willing to wait while they share a moment ;)

That's one extremely considerate dragon. I always imagine it in the back saying: " Don't mind me folks! I'm not going to flee. Perhaps you wanna go somewhere and take a moment to share a bit more. I'd appreciate if you get to the part where someone is putting me out of my misery though."

i've played it again... and if you have alistair and he loves you, he won't let you sacrifice! DAMN THAT BIG OAF!!!! It woulda been cool to give a speech about him TT~TT

@LunarDragon I did it that way. 3 separate save files where I do the deal, don't do the deal but leave alistair behind, and don't do the deal but take alistair. Damned achievements.

TT~TT OMFG~! ALISTAIR! TT~TT i had this ending too but he didn't kiss me because he then told me after i told him i wasn't gonna let him die that "Like you have a choice..." or something those lines... and then he runs off to kill it... NO! TT~TT Why Alistair-kun?! Doushite! Aishiteru!

Can you post a video on what happens after that? When you kill the archdemon yourself, you get a "goodbye speech" from either alistair or anora, what do you get when alistair kills it?

@circaking90 I'm sure it's called armor of the divine will. O you can do the more frustrating thing and try to get the chevalier armor. Then upgrade it to silverite

What I Would Do If I Had The Option To: Tell Him He's Crazy. Make Out, And While Making Out, Bitch Slap Him Over The Head So He Passes Out And I Can Kill The Arch Demon, Letting Alistair Live. Yay!

@LunarDragon there is a mod that allows you to knock him out and take the final blow yourself... for pc anyway

@circaking90 If you have the console version and Warden's keep then you can put in the party storage chest. If you have the PC version and Warden's Keep, then sell it to Mikhael Dryden and leave, then return and buy it back

And no speech for alistair? I think it would be nice since he gives a speech when you sacrifice yourself...and when he sacrifices himself you should be able to give a speech for him, no? :)
