An expansion on the old battle system wouldve been waaaaay better. Battle system seems to be all over the place with all the flying around im sure its because this is a rogue . Not everything needs to be action oriented. We need more strategy to make people focus and plan out attacks.

Yeah it's a bit too action RPG. Inquisition had like some 'action' elements but it was just enough. There was still tactics involved. It doesn't seem like you can control your companions as well which is a big shame.

The combat seems so insane...ly repetitive. Like everything feels so ungodly scripted down to the constant backflips. Like a button masher would have more diversity in how the fights play out than this. Gross.

Dragon Age Orgins was great because you could start the game in 6 different unique locations based on your choices. The francise is completely removed from it's own roots.

I think the main thing it will come down to is the writing and Companions. I can forgive the more 'action RPG" combat (even if it's just 'passable) if the story is good. Origins had a simple story with just enough twists and turns that it was super engaging. 2 and Inqusition had strong points but kind of missed the landing. But each game has had really enjoyable companions. So I'm hoping that's something that doesn't change

looks and feels more like the splishy splashy sword dancing combat from the witcher whch isint a bad thing, with a lil of the dragon age charm, i am hoping that they just toggeled the blood and gore off for youtube and streaming purposes cause damn it looks way to clean. i do like our voice actor though

Looks bro, the graphics are pretty good, I'm not defending the game, but the graphics are impressive, compare to other rpgs, the fidelity of the textures, the facial expressions, the lighting, everything is very well done in this trailer, I just don't know the combat

The gameplay looks fun and engaging. I do hope the game’s plot, romances, dungeons and companions are a lot better once it comes out in stores or on Amazon in the Fall of 2024.

Pretty excited for this and I know it's a mix of 50/50 with fans loving or hating but I don't care people state DA hasn't been the same game since origins yet inquisition sold way more copies and was widely reviewed and received much better and don't tell me otherwise there's so much proof out there but this new DA looks interesting and Kind refreshing and the gore what has been stated in the settings can be turned on or of can't wait day one play for me🎉

if the like / dislike ratio is to go by - it's not 50/50. it's like 20/80 with 80 percent hating it. also inquisition was terrible.

@@abbieee69A bigger audience and more people buying a thing doesn’t make it better. Depends entirely on what you’re using for comparison. If they made Dragon Age FIFA that would probably sell even more, but it wouldn’t be a better Fantasy RPG. Also not everyone who played the first game bought it, or bought it first hand, Inquisition managed really well with staving off piracy early and forcing people who would normally pirate and then not buy to buy.
