DBZ Kai is a rereleased version of DBZ. Its been edited to more closely follow the original manga and cuts out most filler from the original DBZ anime. Super Dragon Ball Heroes is not a standalone show. Its a short series created as ads for the game of the same name.

DBZ kai is a condensed version of the original DBZ anime. Basically it removes 95% of the filler and speeds up slow moments from the original manga. DBZ kai is a shorter version of DBZ but it covers all of DBZ.

Kai is basically what you describe. Cut out all the filler content. They do re dub the voice with better translation line and better audio quality, arguably better music, the animation quality is also cleaned up a bit. Also yes ssj3 does appear several times

super dragon ball heroes is a non canon show that was made to promote one of their games, it's mainly fan service

Kai is at its core, a remasterd and condensed version of Z, cutting out most of the filler as well as giving it an HD touch up on the art and animation which works really well sometimes and other times looks a bit flat. It also is SLIGHTLY more censored in terms of blood and gore, but in the streaming and dvd releases at least there is actual curse words in place of stuff like "darn it!" from Z's original dub. Nicktoons and 4kids airings did censor those parts of kai as well as pretty much all the blood.

So Super Dragon Ball Heroes is just a PR anime series made to promote the arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes/Super Dragon Ball Heroes. It’s not really necessary to watch for the DB franchise 😅 you could always watch best moments from it but you don’t really need to watch it. Kind of like GT if you don’t want to watch that either. You can watch best moments from it ^^

DBZ Kai is the manga accurate version of Z. No filler and much better pacing. As for animation, in the actual show it's cleaned up a bit but the old animation is preserved mostly. Personally I recommend Kai over Z if you every rewatch. It has better pacing, better voice acting as the main cast's voice actors had gotten more experience, better-written lines etc.

super dragon ball heros is not cannon means not following the story line. but the story is still unique in some ways if you want you can watch the series and react to the eps. But the movie dragon ball super suerp heroes movies the new one is cannon meaning it follows the story.

Dragon Ball GT overall as well isn't as bad as some people say it is. I will just say the Super 17 Arc, and half first half of the Shadow Dragon Arc though are kinda trash. They also were pretty brutal with how they aged up some of the characters, like Krillin is just more useless than ever.

This was cool. Totally watch the original DB. For years I held off because I felt it would be dated in animation but it totally is worth watching. It helps to give way more backstory to the Z fighters of Earth before DBZ. Goku's child-like views still hold up afterward but you get an understanding why he is the way he is. Something as simple as taking a Bath was unknown to him before meeting Bulma. Characters like Tein and Piccolo add more layers knowing how they started in the stories. Characters like Oolong have their shine in DB but get left out much later after DBZ. I'd recommend it to any Dragonball fan out there.

You should check out the openings to DBZ Budokai 2 and 3.

So dbz kai is basically a remake version dragon ball Z and they almost look similar to me but there are some color changes not animation change or artstyle change and i think kai is also censored so i think there is no blood fights and they re dub kai so not original Dragon ball Z dubbing they changed the dialogues also but kai also made their own unique and good dialogues like "i am the super saiyan son goku" this one is not in original dragon ball Z and also kai has 0 fillers only manga accurate and canon story and some people say it's fast paced it's not slow like DBZ that's what people say i don't look i have seen just 2-3 episodes of dbz kai and i think it fast paced and there are less episodes in comparison with DBZ so if you want to complete DBZ early just watch Kai but if you want to enjoy the original then watch more then 200 episodes fillers included 😅
