Son Goku The PS1 dominated the market. The N64 is considered a failure by Nintendo despite doing well because of this single fact. There's so many games that people look over on the PS1 that rivals, or out right destroys, the best N64 games such as Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, Tomb Raider (this with FF7 changed EVERYTHING about how games worked), and countless other games.

Well it's a shonen which is targeted towards teenage boys ages 12 to 18. I can name a bunch of reliable sources o back that up but yeah you're never too old for a shonen series.

In fact the only manga type that is for children is Kodomo Muke manga. (Manga for children). Saying Shonen is for children is contradicting. And every source book from here and Japan all say Shonen is for boys ages 12 to 18 or say its for teen boys. And if all seem to agree on that then it’s by far a FACT. Even the guide book by Shueshia states “Shonen Jump was a bi-monthly, then turned weekly magazine that is primarily targeted towards young male teenagers”.

The opening for this game is so good that it could span an entire new series of DB. The art style is mature DBZ with some DBGT chars. Every villains make their appearance just right. The fight sequence between Gohan and Buu is fucking badass. Wished they kept it like that for super.

DBZ Sonic I second this. The gameplay isn't all that good. The only really notable thing is it was the first game to let you play as SSJ4 Goku. If you didn't like "Ultimate Battle 22" then you won't like this game.

If only the same could've been said about the game itself. Granted I had tons of fun playing it back in the day, but even then I could tell it wasn't a very good game. I think I mostly just enjoyed it because it was the only Dragon Ball game available to me at the time without relying on emulation, so that was enough for me to enjoy it more than the game deserved. Although I played the English version thanks to miraculously making a short-lived friend in high school who had it, so wasn't exposed to this particular song.

My friends and I would do the same thing (maybe). It was fun play fighting each other while having beam struggles, and making "teleport" sounds to simulate hyper fast movement. I even once made a tabletop DBZ RPG that one of my friends really liked, but that was lost ages ago.
