It's more than rage. It's grief, too. Rage and grief are two emotions you NEVER want to see in someone like Goku at the same time and this is why. 8) I also feel that on a personal level. Screamed like that when I was told my twin sister was killed in a car crash. Grief and anger hit at the same time and hooo, it was highly unpleasant and draining. This scene, and how they showed the emotion in his voice and body language NAILED it.

It’s because Saiyans tap into their true potential through emotions which is why half Saiyans develop power much quicker than full Saiyans. They are more in tune with their emotional side so they can draw out power much faster than full blooded Saiyans

I believe that's false. Saiyans grow in power the more emotionally hurt they become. Note that Goku turned into a super Saiyan because Frieza destroyed Krillin, and vegeta became one when he felt like his pride has been crushed by the fact that Goku could surpass him like that. So yeah, Saiyans don't get stronger because of good androids, they get stronger by feeling intense emotions they can't handle.

Like 2 probably would've been Tien and all that, and additionally as Master Roshi pretty much said that Tien would be like his future replacement (and even DBS he has the dojo, despite how they didn't really follow up on that story post OG). Then King Piccolo, then Piccolo Jr, still grandpa gohan somewhere in there, basically like you said "eighters death" it was a huge highlight of "path to power." Like hint at them being aliens, with more alien dialoque and Piccolo Sr's "abominations" being explained to be just that, and the "super namekian" thing also could be explained more. Sadly I wouldn't trust this in the modern day with how they treat the series with DBFighterZ animation for a film and literally 3/4 of DBS.
