Did my best to make the transition loop properly just so it would sound like the music is actually connected together and not just poorly edited in. Really sucks that this version of the song never got a full version compared to the japanese version. D:

This version of the song belongs to funimation. This is purely fan-made and is made for entertainment, this is not an official extension edit.

Just heard the news about Akira Toriyama's unfortunate passing. I could NOT believe my eyes when I saw the tweet that announced his unfortunate death. Had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't bullshit. His work has had a huge influential in the world of anime, especially in the west given that Dragon Ball was what helped anime became so mainstream in the west. RIP Akira Toriyama 1955-2024 ;~;

Watched OG dragon ball pretty much exactly last year. After listening to this a few times, I felt like I was listening to the most iconic anime opening to exist.

Rewatching the series, reminds me how much the og was lighthearted. I miss that. I hope Daima delivers that. Modern DB just bores me with constant bad guys wanting to destroy or rule the world. Just give me an exciting new adventure again.

I'm definitely curious about the direction Daima will go, and am hoping that if they're going through the trouble of making it a plot point that everybody is turned young again, it doesn't just wind up being some dumb gimmick with no significant payoff.

Man I was really hoping that too. I was hoping that this was nothing more than some troll making some fake news for shits and giggles. (even though it wouldn't have been funny.) @@HamtaroSonicHedgehog yeah, it’s not super obvious, but to me it sounds like him if he was a rock singer, with a less exaggerated voice than he has in the show, or if his voice actor was genuinely singing a song he liked without the voice
