So the naming scheme for the super saiyan god you actually have it right. When creating the red god form. It was originally going to be called saiyan god since they didn’t think were gonna making another movie so they just named it super saiyan god. But since battle of gods became so popular they made RoF and they named blue the dumb name that they chose. Also respect my Goat Vegito ✊🏿

My guess is Buu Saga Vegito is gonna be in a “sagas” trailer that shows all the arcs appearing in the game. Could possibly show off GT characters without making a separate trailer for them and show us characters we haven’t seen yet overall. This could be a massive character dump trailer, SSJ2 Gohan, Cell, Ginyu, Raditz, Dabura, Babadi, Super Buu, Kid Buu, Goku Black, ToP characters we haven’t seen yet. I just want to say that I agree with you about the naming for Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan blue. I also agree about the transformation or lack thereof that comes with becoming Super Saiyan God. My opinion is that Super Saiyan God is a new base state, so when they transform into Super there's no change outwardly because they've elevated themselves to the level of a god. That's also why turning super saiyan effectively put them at Super Saiyan 1 as a god. They definitely could have come up with a better name for the transformation. I think this is especially prevalent in Vegeta Super Saiyan blue evolved state. He effectively just went Super Vegeta that's a Super Saiyan God. To clarify that everyone remembers Super Vegeta from the cell saga? He did the same thing as Super Saiyan blue. That's also why Goku black get Super Saiyan Rose. Super Saiyan Rose came about by Goku black learning to turn Super Saiyan. As in he literally just turned Super Saiyan but was immediately elevated to Super Saiyan Rose because he's a God in the body of a saiyan. Were any other body stealer he would have just turned normal super saiyan. Anyway back to the main point Super Saiyan God is just a new base state for Saiyans as a god. Calling it Saiyan God would have been perfect

I think SSG looks better in terms of the base design, but Blue is far superior in function. Which is most likely a result of SSG being created for the movie, and then Blue being created on the heels of the movie’s success. Also, I agree that the name could’ve been Saiyan God allowing for Super Saiyan God to be used later. However, it’s possible they chose Super Saiyan God just because they thought Saiyan God might not have sounded as cool or as powerful. Almost like they were “going backwards” or devaluing Super Saiyan as a whole

I agree the name scheming is weird considering SSJ God is essentially a new base form that merely adds God ki to their original forms. I always thought Vegito's is also strange until I realized his name comes from Vegeta and Kakarotto Also I wouldn't be surprised is there are two different Vegito characters. Now stay with me here. We know there is a Goku (end) and Goku (super) Vegito's fuse happens from both of them, but are different. Making there be Vegito (Z) and Vegito (Super) since the characters used to fuse into him are fundamentally different

I was a little surprised that SSJ Gogeta basically did nothing related to his incarnation in Fusion Reborn, and pretty exclusively referenced the Broly movie moves he did. My guess is that the older Z movies' representatives might be a separate DLC pack in the future, and Super Gogeta (with a halo) could be a separate character then.

They don’t show SSJ Vegito because he goes straight to blue in super unlike Gogeta who goes both ssj and blue. I would guess they’re making a second Vegito for the buu saga.

I feel like the only reason people like god over blue is because blue became the poster child for DBS. If it was the other way around people would say the same about god. Other than that its just a color preference...nothing is wrong with blue at all. i still like Gotenks cause he has the most creatove moveset compared to any other character. Is he annoying and he didn't finish his fight when he could have? Only negative complaint I have about the game is how the stages look. I feel like a bunch of them don't really match the artstyle of the game & the more I look at them the more & more it starts to bother me how ugly they look. I think some of the more otherwordly Dragon ball stages will look great like what we saw of the Supreme Kais world & namek (& others like Beerus's planet & otherworld I think will look good too). But some others like the world tournament, the wastelands (which they showed Roshi, Krillin, & Yamcha in the last trailer) look ugly to me in a very jarring way imo the more I look at it. Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to this game.

To me they made him seem weaker than Gogeta. One got the jump on the other. Vegito got slap around by Zamasu and then Gogeta beat the sense out of him to transform. Which we all know Vegito didn't do until he went Blue. That's where the trailer kinda shows where he needed to be at to beat him. It's funny because they are equally as strong as each other as the creator who confirms this. One just does a dance while the other one thrusts into each other.
