The reason it's called Sparking Zero is cuz the 'Budokai Tenkaichi' triology names were 'Sparking, Sparking Neo and Sparking Meteor

And the reason why Sparking was the original title in Japan is because the DBZ opening(Cha-La Head Cha-La) ended with "Sparking!". So in the west they robbed us of that.

Dbz budokai tenkaichi is the English version Dragon ball sparking is the Japanese version The same series with different names

Sparking Zero is a direct sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3, so it's not really surprising that they're bringing back mechanics/combos from the previous entries. I'm still waiting for Goku Black and the fusions to be revealed!

I wanna see a Past and Present trailer. Past would have characters like Bardock, Seripa, and other characters from the past of the Dragon Ball timeline and Present would have characters like Goten, Trunks, and other present characters. Not GT though, that was confirmed to be DLC in a press conference and a prominent leaker.

it actually is part of the budokai tenkaichi series, as sparking is just the prefix in japan for this game. tho it does say "budokai tenkaichi series" at the top when this trailer comes on

Sparking is the actual title in Japan and it refers to the last word spoken in the lyrics of the DBZ opening. They're only adding Budokai Tenkaichi series here in the west because they robbed us of the original title which actually made sense unlike Budokai Tenkaichi.
