This is actually an interest and brave concept for DBZ games to take. By far, Imperfect cell was the most terrifying of the villains in my opinion, so seeing a game where it's mostly humans and possibly 1 or more androids, against freaking Cell, is just crazy, cause I dont think Goku or any other Z fighters are gonna be saving the day here, just ordinary humans, and maybe a robot or two.

Needs an "escape from Roshi" mode because you know.

Dragon Ball X dead by daylight is not something I thought I would see in a million years

Now this is a very unique game format that I didn't expect to be part of the franchise. I always imagined Imperfect Cell as a real slasher villain and I looks like this game will paint him in that picture. Gonna play this regardless, but bonus points if Launch and Farmer with a Shotgun are somehow playable.

I'm honestly excited for this, it's nice to finally see some Dragon Ball media that isn't just focused on Goku and Vegeta getting new hairstyles.

Tbh, I was kinda unsure at first about breakers, but it's a nice change of pace, a good cut back to the "reality" of Dragon Ball Z, and how screwed most Earthlings are. We've had tons of fighting games, yeah, and seen everything all our favorite fighting faces did. But when's the last time we really saw any of these guys from a normal human perspective in a game? Anyway, yeah, I support them trying to branch out, and make a new experience. Sure, it's not a continuation of a series we like, like Xenoverse or Budokai Tenkaichi, but at least people will be able to look at these villains with the fear they deserve

Not going to lie, this is the “Perfect” idea for a dragon ball survivor game, with you trying not to get absorbed by Cell.

Majin Buu just activates his "Genocider Blast" and eradicates an entire server region with one hand.

I.. kinda like it. I don't know if I will play it, but goddamn this is a new take on an existing franchise, and I'm all for that. A Dead by Daylight like PvP Survival game in the DBZ universe sounds really fun. It would be dope if they would announce more villains/killers like Majin Vegeta, Boo, Frieza or Demon King Piccolo. I'm all for creativity.

I have no idea how to feel about this, but I have my hopes. The same hope as Oolong has for that tiny rocket against Perfect Cell.

That opening cinematic for the first minute of this trailer looked outstanding! I honestly would not mind if we got a DB movie with those visuals.

Fun concepts other than the usual fighting and open worlds DBZ is known for. Love the art style in this little animation. Even the characters when the running from cells blast lol

Well, that's an interesting direction to take DBZ games in. Nice to see they're trying new concepts instead of giving us another fighter that just rehashes the same old storyline again.

At first I was just bewildered and baffled at the idea. But I have to admit that Cell launching energy attacks at a city of regular humans, just because they annoy him, is pretty hilarious. But I guess those humans must be extraordinary because Cell just ascended to his Perfect form pretty quickly after absorbing them. Also, Farmer with Shotgun and Launch need to be in this game. I'm not even going to play this game, but I would like to see them in it.

Finally a dragonball game im actually excited for. As one of the few people that actually liked evolve this concept looks similar. Survivors have to stop the bad guy from reaching his perfect form.

This is different, not sure how to feel about it but happy their trying new stuff with the franchise

Can we take a moment to appreciate how amazing the cinematics looked in this. That right there is movie level quality and i think just those cinematic scenes would far suit a 3d animated dragonball movie over the current art style choice on the new movie, that being said id love to see movie for the cell saga if itd look this bad ass.

This is actually amazing!!! The idea that Cell gets more powerful and transforms after absorbing survivors is awesome! Maybe this game does well and we see a Buu DLC where he does the same going from Fat-Super-Kid?

When seen from the perspective of a non Z fighter Imperfect Cell can be a frightening enemy. He really did have the makings of something from a horror film. Quite a lot of Cell's victims would feel exactly the way you would when playing Alien: Isolation... Imagine just running and hearing his foosteps and wondering where he is.

Respecting the franchise for trying something new

All we want is another game with the Budokai or Budokai Tenkaichi fighting mechanics. Fast paced combat with smooth transitions to combos, ultimates and an overall blast to play through.

This.... actually makes sense? Like, the choice of villain, the idea of regular humans having to survive while Cell destroys stuff and the Z Warriors are off training or something like that. I'm impressed.

The game looks fun and I like the refreshing idea of playing as the non-fighters to combat the supervillains, but I'm most surprised about the general reception I'm seeing in the comments! You guys are accepting of it, and that's awesome! Like some of you said, I'm glad they're trying new things with Dragon Ball haha. I'll always love my Goku, Vegeta, and Team U7, but I also love Bulma, Oolong, Launch, and Puar lol Looking forward to more!

With everything dragon ball has to offer, they could release a mega huge role-playing game. They could create a unique Story or a "What If Story." & and you can play as a sayajin, namekian or whatever you want. They could even create a nice mmorpg. Wouldn't THAT be amazing?

Excited for Dragonball people trying something new. I will say that we have more than enough obscure characters like Oolong and Bulma to go around for 10 players, though. Please get rid of the generic original characters. We want to play as Launch, Ox King, Puar, Yajirobe, Mr. Satan, and other useless characters who normally never see the light of day. It'll be hilarious.

I'm actually really excited for this. I love the idea of taking a more horror focus of the Dragon Ball series especially with how screwed the average person is living in a world with terrifying supervillains like Cell, Buu, and Frieza.

It's definitely something i wasn't expecting from them, and after three times of watching this trailer, yeah i'm excited for this game.

OK I just need to know something related to Oolong's power. Will the items in the map be randomly generated on load, or can players with no life memorize all the item locations and easily notice Oolong's transformation "Because that jug in this room isn't an item placement in this map"?
