I still can't believe the stupidity that was not including a practice mode.

Instant transmission is one of the best way to chain combos, it's free and you don't have to waist 2 bars of stamina to go to the back of an opponent

I know I'm super late, but after doing the free teleports when launching the enemy during the light dash attack (pressing light attack after launching the enemy), you can tap block right before they fly at you and it'll break you out of the full free tele combo. This also works with the heavy, light, light launcher too. This way, the free teleports act as if you were using stamina to teleport, where you're able to chain the combo together even longer, but it doesn't waste any stamina.

JasKambo There were a few things you didn't mention, like the knock back attack. Press Y and B (or Triangle and X) and you will knock them away with one attack. Then, you can flick your stick to the left or right and press A (or X) and you will dash around to the other side of your target. It takes one bar of stamina to do it!

This clears things up for me the only hard part is to execute it. I played this game for a while but could never understand how to do combos, yeah I could have practiced but there wasn’t a practice mode where I could have tried things out without the battle ending because the enemy is out of health. I even thought the controls were delayed so I didn’t know how to keep doing the light/strong attacks, I have the habit of pressing the buttons fast and trying it out slow to see how fast the hits could land.

This was a great tutorial, unfortunately however with how the game's vanishing/defense system works there isn't much reason to get into long combos. They need some kind of damage scaling mechanic in the sequel, because there's just too many easy loops you can do in this game.

You can actually combo form cells dash attack into his perfect shot in which you will recover and go for the dash again

JasKambo At 4:19 What I usually do is I teleport up to my target. Then I hold block, stopping me from smashing them down, allowing me to continue the combo. What I do after that is YXYXY combo. After I knock them upward, I use my knockback attack by pressing Y and B at the same time. Then I flick my stick and press A after using the knockback attack, which allows me to fly to the other side of them at the cost of one bar of Stamina, and continue the combo or finish with a Super/ Ultimate. I like to finish with something like Justice Combination or Burning Slash if I decide to finish with a Super/Ultimate.

How do you dash attack combo like . . . When you finish your combo and you knockback your enemy and you short dashed then attacked the enemy again ? ( Man i can't explain it better . . . ) i've tried doing it myself but then i forgot . . .

you know a good finisher i found for combos is the Strike Super skill called Hyper drain, if you can pull it off you get back your Ki and Stamina for more comboing

This would be more helpful if you showed this while playing against actually players online, not computers. I didn't really learn anything. And i suck at online. I'm just trying to find a place that teaches me how do do the crazy stuff i see people doing online when i can't land a single hit on them. This only gave me an idea of a possible way to get past "you can't win" z soul.

When u use the yxxxx combo when u kick and vanish not using stamina block to stop your self from kicking them and then do a combo

I think mine has a problem when I do the knockback move it won't let me vanish when I do it just to throw a combo I have full stamina and it won't let me vanish and do a combo

Comboing with a keyboard is the most frustrating thing ever in this game, my advice for the newbs is to, if you have one, get a controller from either a PS or an XBOX, its soooo much easier.

His my combo xxx a x a x xxxxxyyy it doesn't work all the time but about 54% health gone does more damage when super sayian and super sayian 2. This is a intermediate combo and creative one

your tips ain't that helpful except for the dash part, i manage to get 50 hit combo, right on the dot, but i think there is a skill or z soul that delpets enemy's stamina where they can't block

I really could have made a better tutorial. . Damn. You made the combos sound so flexible but really there isn't many combos on Xenoverse. It's all in the pause menu for goodness sake. You didn't really explain anything outside the already included in game tutorial. I was hoping for some actual pro tips. The game tutorial taught me more than this video.
