The direction of these cutscenes were so good. The music, the timing of when it kicks in hard, the camera cuts, the acting, and all with an undoubtedly small budget. The quality is really something else. The studio that made this game poured their heart into it and it shows everywhere. One of my childhood-defining games, and was a fantastic introduction to the series.

Marlon Thompson I feel like the Funi VAs nowadays kind of exaggerate a lot of the tone and dialogue of their characters. Versus back then from the Cell Arc to the end of, a lot of that dialogue and tone of voice of the characters felt a lot more natural and flowed a lot better

Real shit, Budokai's cutscenes not only instilled high expectations for 3D animations they also enforced that there's no excuse for messing up 3D cutscenes when this game's scenes still are great despite how old they are.

It's the way the game is programmed. All of Cell's forms use the same voice in the Japanese version, so there was never any programming for voice changes when he transformed.

5:00 I played this before watching the show so I didn’t realize what actually happened to Vegeta because of how fast it was. I thought it was just a weak hit and was confused why he looked damaged. It was only sometime after when I realized that the supposed weak hit actually broke his arm.

Played this as a kid in 2008 on my gamecube, to this day i say this was the BEST Dragon Ball Z game ever. The graphics gave it a menacing, mean edge. The voiceovers were perfect. The fights were incredible.

Well, there could be a Vegeta vs Super Trunks fight in training and on the island in this game as well as Goku vs Gohan training and a Trunks story mode with Future Gohan his Anime fights with Trunks vs Goku At the beginning of the saga,Trunks vs Frieza Cyborg and King Cold,Trunks vs 17 like Vegeta's battle vs 18,Super trunks vs Cell Semi-perfect and perfect form And finally the final fights of trunks vs 17 and 18 + the original Cell form It would be amazing too bad they didn't put it sad 😔😢 I would love it if they released a Remake or remaster nowadays with all this like and bye!
