As a Dr. Slump fan, I feel the need to make a "this is how Senbei's attempt at making DBZ merch for Arale would go" joke, but, let's be honest here, Arale would enjoy the crap out of these bootlegs.

Oh god, I'm trying to remember all the DBZ bootlegs I had as a kid. There was this 12" tall future Trunks that was made out of hard, hollow plastic that had maybe two points of articulation and I may or may not have purchased it from a shady open-air junk store in Toronto Chinatown while on a family trip.

I remember this Frieza Final Form figure I had that came with an assault rifle. The last thing Frieza would ever need in his arsenal is an assault rifle. Guns are about as useful as toothpicks in the DBZ sagas.

"Did you see anything?!" "No sir, I didn't see you playing with your toys again" "Good! Knock next time! Knock!"

...and in the end, they all took a trip together to the Next Dimension

Too bad BDZ wasnt released earlier, if Sungold had gotten there and added them to the galaxy hole since they spent so much time in the exact pose MotU figures use.

Every time I see a bootleg zone I get a tinge or nostalgia thinking about all the stuff I would see like this at the flea market when I'd go there with my dad. Bootlegs are always going to be flea market bootlegs to me. There would always be like a dozen people selling crap like this. Anything popular and it would be bootlegged like crazy and you'd see them everywhere.

Not gonna lie I really dig the black cape on Gohan but, that derpy face on the toy kills the cool factor. I think the black cape would go well with his new form from the latest movie. (Aka El-Blanco from the gohan verse)

Packaging aside (I remember it being light blue) these look like the figures you'd get from fairground/market stalls and dodgy neighbourhood drugstores when I was a kid and DBZ was red-hot in my country, back in the mid/late 90s. Pretty sure I had a bootleg Frieza Saga Gohan (and a bootleg SSJ Goku from a different line) to go with my beloved authentic Great Saiyaman figure.

I see nothing wrong here the characters look just how I remember them.
