2.9 is an April fools joke and kingdom hearts 3 joke, while 3 is the Android saga, and the my hero dream references Goku dreaming of naruto and one piece in the abridged.

And also has another Chris Sabat Piccolo reference/joke in Gohan’s line “I wish my dad was All Might” (it’s also a “Piccolo is Gohan’s Real Dad” joke). Chris voiced Vegeta and Piccolo, as well as Zoro (Funimation) and All Might. The other Chris Sabat joke was Piccolo showing up as Zoro in Goku’s _One Piece_ dream.

The Android/Cell saga was full of Toriyama changing the villain because his editor didn't like it, he thought Gero and 19 were dumb, 17 and 18 weren't threatening enough and Imperfect Cell and Semi-Perfect Cell were too ugly, leading to Perfect Cell

Also Vegeta's "BAZINGAAAA attack!!" was a joke because the English version's name for it is "Big Bang Attack." So they called it Bazinga as a reference to Big Bang Theory.

I know this comment is old but whatever. The English version of big bang attack is the same as the japanese version as well as all of vegeta's attack's are purposely spelt and said in english in the japanese version. It was done to make vegeta sound foreign from the rest of the crew since he's from space.

Its great they got all the references the kai episode did, since a lot of reactors dont, so rip (Also that mha part was funny because of bakugou acting like an ass, aka his usual self and deku going "GOD YOURE SUCH A DEEP CHARACTER", kind of the interpretation of the fandom lol)

It is really rare to find a group that doesn't miss anything, and even rarer to come out of the video knowing more about the show than I had beforehand. These guys are spectacular. So the controversy involving the music was the Japanese composer in charge of the DBZ Kai soundtrack and some of the video games around that time was blatantly ripping off famous rock songs. The guy’s name is Kenji Yamamoto and there’s videos on KZfaq comparing the songs if anyone was interested.

When watching the Kai abrigded series I honestly thought that the funny and important characters voiced by Takahata101 would say "I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say" but 16 isn't and I assumed that cell would say the same thing.
